Mzee Kenyinge Ringaso, aged over 100 years was Baptised by Apostle William K Korir, at River Njoro. Mzee Kenyinge who is still fit and strong is a Dorobo. Apostle Korir was holding a three day Powerful Crusade at Naiswet Centre, some 13 kilometres to the South of Njoro town. The crusade was held between 8th and 10th October 2010. Accroding to the villagers Mr. Kannyinge had been invited several times to accept Jesus but over the years he has had nothing to do with christians and although he never took bear or cigarretes he had never stepped in any christian church.
Apostle William Korir held crusade during Friday Afternoon and had an overnight vigil (Kesha) with the worshippers. Apostles prayed for the sick and there was many healing and restoration.
Mr Kanyinge heard of the powerful healing and came at 3.00 p.m. the following day to be prayed for. Apostle shared the word of God with Grand pa Kanyinge in a very simplified manner and putting illusrtrations into paspective for clarity. The old man exclaimed at the end of the session, what shall I do to be a Christian, Apostle told him to accept Jesus as his personal saviour and repent from his past sins. He did and accepted Jesus and he was saved. Apostle further invited Mr Kanyinge to receive Baptism by immersion in much waters and he willingly accepeted and inquired what time he would be Baptised.
The elderly Kanyinge was Baptised the following day on Sunday 10th October 2010 together with seven others who got Saved.
Praise be to the NAME of the LORD and Saviour Jesus Christ. The heavens went into praise for those who got saved.
Even you too can get saved! Jesus is knocking at the door of your heart. Do accept him today and receive Salvation in JESUS Mighty Name!
