“And so, since God in his mercy has given us this wonderful Ministry, w e never give up. We reject all shameful and underhanded methods. We do not try to trick anyone, and we do not distort the word of God. We tell the truth before God, and all who are honest know that. If the good news we preach is veiled from any one, it is a sign that they are perishing. Satan the god of this evil world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe, so they are unable to see the glorious light of the good news that is shining upon them. They don’t understand the message we preach about the glory of Christ , who is the exact likeness of God”. 2 Corinthians.
We are living at a time when things doesn’t seem to work. Life challenges are numerous and persistent But we shall never give up! The Ministry we have received is through the mercies of the Lord. This Ministry, this wonderful Ministry, we have not received it through our strength but through the mercies of God.
The mercies of God have gone ahead of us, putting every crooked way right. Everything we do, we do it in the mercies of God. It neither from our hard work nor our strength but it is the power and the mercies of God. The Bible calls it wonderful Ministry. Signs and wonders will follow us not by our hard work, but by the mercies of God. There are very few Apostolic Ministries in the world today! They do not pull large crowds. They are usually with few crowds, but they prepare the world for the second coming of Jesus Christ. We don’t qualify to be called anybody in this world, but through the mercies of God - we shall never give up! We may change according to the changing times or sometimes due to the environment we are in – we could change. Some Pastors are busy selling the word of God, but in this Ministry we shall never lose heart. In Kenya many people have given up hope due to hard economic times but they never given up they continue with their routine jobs for they have little to do to change their circumstances. God has sent me today to tell you - Never to give up! Many preachers today have elevated signs and wonders as proof that the Spirit of God guides them. They televise to show their healing power so as to attract many to their churches. You don’t have to go looking for miracles for you are fearfully and wonderfully made.
You are a miracle. We reject all the shameful and underhand deals. We have rejected all methods of craftiness and Corruption. Some preachers have corrupted the word of God - speaking in tricky ways - And this is SIN! They tell their unsuspecting followers, “God has told me that you must give me Kshs. 21,000, US$.300.00, for you to be blessed. Some church members do give with great expectation for them to receive blessings. We have rejected these shameful things of the false pulpits. Many have different agendas and they use the pulpit for their self gain. Only Jesus Christ is the Way the Truth and the Life. When we speak according to the truth, we shall never have tricky designs, but shall focus on the truth, by living according to the Word of God. There are certain approaches applied by others in order to woo followers and which shall not help us with anything. We shall preach the gospel truth! the way it is written in the bible. We will accept all the ridicule from the worldly people and false teachers. But the word of God shall be preached in our Ministry according to the Bible.
We do not look for profit as we spread the message but rather we serve God with all the resources he avails to us. We are clothed with simplicity and thank God for it. Apostle Paul once said, He was ridiculed, made no profit, and he never drove big cars, but he served God diligently and with dedication. We have refused craftiness, and we serve God with all our hearts. Even if we drive the oldest models which are now out of market, Christ is in the old. Someone once told me, “David, you are a good preacher, but why don’t you own a church? I told him no one owns a church for it belongs to Christ. Some preacher came to Kenya from Korea. He bought many buses which were used to ferry people from the estates to the church. All this was done for self gratification. We have received God’s mercies and we are go-workers with Jesus Christ in the Ministries’ interactive website and by planting churches all over the world. People in Russia read the website; when they hear the name Apostle Korir; it could sound the name of a tree and they marvel and say if a tree can speak - we accept Jesus!. The Ministry is full of wonders because of mercies of God. You never know how important you are. It is better to die than to give up. Apostle Korir! Please do not give up Hope! The Mercies of God have dawned on you. They preach false and fleece people but as for us what have we received? The Ministry of Power and Mercies of God! I want to give an illustration;
The hand has five fingers:
Big finger, Apostle
Second finger, prophet
Third finger, Longer than the rest, evangelist
Fourth finger, Pastor
Fifth finger, Teacher
When you fold your fingers the fingers are tied by the big finger, Apostle, who heads and guides the Ministry in all its teachings. Apostolic Ministries stands for the truth and even warn against graft in the governments. The Apostles correct false doctrines, and stand for the truth, verse 2. We tell the truth before God and the people knows that. Very few people are honest. Many ask for money before praying for the sick. If the good news we preach are veiled on some; it is because they are perishing. We are standing from an honest position, the bible does not apologise, and when people do not see what we are teaching, it is because they are perishing. Whatever you do very few people would approve. I work for the Post Bank of Kenya. I am happy because a number of people approves and appreciate the work of God - I do. When the Managing Director passes by and sees me, he would inquire if I continue to pray for the organisation. Many of the top Managers do not even know my insignificant name; but they call me Pastor.
This is because they see Christ in me. God has the authority to stand against evil, therefore talk the truth all the time and do not fear anybody but stand for the Word of God of God. I went to preach at Kisumu market in of one of the market days. People there believe that it must rain on a market day. I prepared to preach and heavy clouds had started to build-up and I could see some Lecho Maria sect members sneering at me. I raised my voice towards heaven and said rain you are God’s and I ‘am also God’s, hold on where you are, do not fall, and miraculously it hanged there until I completed my sermon. Then I told the people to live immediately to look for shelters as it was going to rain. The moment I stepped down from the pulpit, the rain fell in torrents. Satan who is the small god of this world has blinded the eyes of the people who do not believe. We only need to open our eyes to unveil the darkness. They are unable to see the glorious power of God. The light of the gospel needs to enter as the only source of power to open their eyes. In 1999, the prosperity gospel was introduced in Kenya.
People were taught the gospel of prosperity and they became blind to the true gospel. They even stopped singing the songs of the cross terming them as old fashioned. The Cross is the beginning of a Christian life. Therefore those who understand the knowledge of the Cross are on the right track. Accept Jesus today as your Personal Saviour and receive Salvation - for God is in control of your life.
PRAYER
Dear Jesus, I thank you for your everlasting love for me. I believe and thank you for dying for me at Calvary cross as a demonstration of your love for me. Jesus, I do believe in your saving grace and I give you my life; to change it according to your will.
Thank you for blessing me in your mighty NAME!
