St Lilian slum community development project (LISCODEP)is a refuge for orphans and widows. LISCODEP is affiliated to Hope Ministries World - Lilian A. Ong'or is the Director of the Children's home.Lilian was orphaned at a tender age of 11 years and the gurdian who took care of her mistreated her before marrying her off at a young age. She did not go to school and she did not even understand what marriage was. After going through a tough marriage which was not going to work any way, she decided to bolt out and seek for a better chance of freedom. Lilian soon got her thinking up and running. She had a vision to start a home for the Orphans. But how was she going to get started; she had limited education and had no money. Her dream never died though, one day her lack came knocking at her door. One good samaritan arranged for a visa to overseas and she got a free ticket. She went abroad and went to school to improve her education and finally came back. she visited countries like Germany and Italy amongst others.

Her dream has become a reality as she is now having over 200 orphans in various parts of the country under her care. the ages ranges from 5 years to 18 years. She has found some sponsors who are meeting their school fees and clothing, medical bills and other essentials. A good number of the children are in boarding schools while the majority are yet to get sponsors.

This orpans are being given a second chance to live normal lives and access education and live as citizen.

Jesus has blessed you and your wealth may have been given to you so that you could bless this deserving cases. Beautiful innocent angels who are just wondering why they do not have parents as other children.
