By Apostle William K Korir,

Jesus Christ
The Lord Jesus is good. He left his place in heaven to come and die for you and for me. He has good plans for each one of us. At the cross Jesus became a huge magnet and pulled into himself all mankind and God the father carried out the work of reconciliation, reconciling the fallen humanity to himself. He washed us all with the blood of Jesus- and gave us the ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18-19). We are now his children and we can proudly walk in to the throne of God's grace. Jesus is faithful and he knows all his children. God has good plans for his children..Plans not to harm but to bring you prosperity and a future ( Jeremiah 29:11-12). Jesus is the Lord over your life and he is your life. You need to try him for without him you will not be able to make it to heaven (John 15:5). God has put in place necessary structures to make you possible to live a Christian Life. Outside Jesus there is no life.. only pain and hopelessness. Jesus is all we need and through him we attain Life. Jesus is our Lord and Saviour. Trust in him today and be happy always. God bless you

THE UNDEVIDED LOYALTY!

By Apostle William K. Korir,

Love is eternal and is from God. God himself is love and His Love is deep and everlasting for his children. God also wants his children to love him and to remain loyal and faithful to him all the time. Enoch loved God and he lived a holy, righteous life. God saw that he was the only loyal and righteous man in the whole world. God took Enoch to heaven after walking with God on earth for 300 years. God asked Abraham to leave his home in Babylon to a country he would show him and Abraham obeyed his voice and he and his family left (Genesis 12:1-4). God blessed Abraham with a son whom he named him Isaac and when he had grown God came to Abraham and asked him to to offer his son as a sacrifice to him and Abraham obeyed (Genesis 22:1-3)

These great man of God set a classic example to us all. He obeyed God and did what God asked him to do without complaining. The followers of Jesus Christ were ordinary people with ordinary behaviours. They failed simple tests and disowned Jesus when some tried to associate them with him. Fear ruled in their hearts and they forgot all what Jesus had taught them to save their lives (Mark 14:45-50). Prophet Jonah fled when he was tasked to go to Nineveh to warn the inhabitants of that land to repent or perish. Poor Jonah thought that it wasn't a good idea to go to that land and so fled to Tarshis instead. God who is everywhere was closely monitoring Jonah's movement. He sent a whale who swallowed Jonah and embarked on a three days journey, all this time Jonah in his stomach. It defeats human logic how a person can stop breathing for three days and three nights yet lives.

This was possible with God (Jonah 1:1-3,16). Three young slaves in Babylon (Shadrack, Meshack and Abednecho)remained loyal to God even under very difficult moments. The King gave a decree for everybody in Babylon to worship an Idol he had erected but the three young men told the King on his face they would not worship the idol for God would save them and added that even if God did not save them; they would still not worship the idol. The King was very very angry with them and so he ordered for the furnace to be heated seven times hotter.

The three young men were tied with strips and thrown into the furnace but only the stripes got burned and the soldiers who threw them into the furnace died of heat. The Lord was already in the furnace and the young men were not harmed. They did not even smell fire.Daniel 3:17-19). It is therefore prudent for you to serve God with loyalty and to pursue peace with all people and Holiness without which no one will see God (Hebrews 12:14). May the Lord make you increase in love & establish your heart blameless in holiness before our God at the coming of Christ (I Thessalonians 3:12,13).

HOPE MINISTRIES WORLD IS TODAY'S VOICE OF HOPE TO THE WORLD. JESUS CALLS ON ALL PEOPLE TO REPENT OF THEIR SINS AND FOLLOW HIM; AND RENEW THEIR RELATIONSHIPS WITH GOD! IT IS TIME THE WORLD TURN AWAY FROM THEIR SINFUL WAYS AND WORSHIP GOD THE CREATOR OF HEAVENS, EARTH, SEA ALL THINGS.

GOD’S GRACE OVERSHADOWS OUR SINFUL WAYS

By Apostle William K. Korir,

“Now Jacob went out from Beersheba and wen toward Haran. So he came to a certain place and stayed there all night, because the sun had set. And he took one of the stones of that place and put it at his head, and he lay down in that place to sleep. Then he dreamed and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. And behold the Lord stood above and said; ............. Behold I ‘am with you and will keep you wherever you go............for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you...” (Genesis 28:10-22).

FACTS: Jacob had a dream at night as he slept in the open air in the wilderness. He saw a ladder stretching from the earth to heaven and angels ascended and descended into heaven. Before fleeing away to from his brother Esau, to save his life; Jacob had been; planning, scheming and deceiving to defraud his blood brother. In spite of his crooked ways, cunning and craftiness the angels of God kept vigil around him even as he fled home the angels had surrounded him. The angels had delivered news of Jacob’s escape to heaven and came back to accompany Jacob on his way. God was with Jacob as the God who brings grace to his people not on the grounds of his own goodness, or their merit, or their worth but on the grounds of his own amazing purpose of saving love and mercy. Jacob was a man with past, present and future. Past: he had a past filled with selfish ambitions not too pleasant, yet one shared by all of us. Present: He had the present full of fear, being lonely in the desert alone with painful conscience of his mistake and deceit. Future: Nothing appears sure, nothing was definite and he wasn’t sure whether he would be received by Laban.

He was turning his back on the certainties in order to face uncertainties a head of him. Jacob had: A past of deceitfulness and sin; A present of loneliness and fear A future of uncertainties and doubt. Jacob’s is but a mirror of our lives. Be glad though as with all your infirmities, God’s angels encamp around you to protect you until you come to your right senses to worship him. God patiently wait for his children to repent of their evil ways and follow him in a righteous path. God never tires loving his children. No matter how deep they drift into sin; his angels follows them and protect them from the destructive snare of God’s enemy and our enemy Satan. God pleads with the sinners; “Come let us reason together. Even if your wrongs are too big to be forgiven; I will surely forgive you and keep no record of them”. (Isaiah 1:18). Give God a chance to save you and cleanse all your past wrongs (sins).

When you accept Jesus as the son of God, God the father will be pleased with you and will forever love you and guide your way. PRAY THIS PRAYER; Dear Lord Jesus! I have learnt of your loving grace. I am happy to have learnt that you died at the cross in order to save me. Thank you Lord for the trouble you took to save me. I will forever follow your footsteps till you come to take me home. Forgive all the wrongs I have committed - the known and the unknown. In Jesus name Amen!

THERE IS HOPE! - THE HOLY SPIRIT LINKS GOD’S CHILDREN TO HEAVEN

SERMON PRESENTED BY APOSTLE WILLIAM K KORIR ON SUNDAY,FEBRUARY 2, 2009
KEY TEXT: JOHN CHAPTER 16:1...
"These things I have spoken to you that you should not be made to stumble. (Vrs.2 NKJV) "They will put you out of the synagogues; yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service.(vrs.3 NKJV) "And these things they will do to you because they have not known the Father nor Me. (Vrs.4 NKJV) "But these things I have told you, that when the time comes, you may remember that I told you of them. And these things I did not say to you at the beginning, because I was with you.(Vrs.5 NKJV) "But now I go away to Him who sent Me, and none of you asks Me, 'Where are You going?'(Vrs. 6 NKJV) "But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart.(Vrs.7 NKJV) "Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.(Vrs.8 NKJV) "And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:(Vrs.NKJV) "of sin, because they do not believe in Me;(Vrs10 NKJV) "of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more;(Vrse.11 NKJV) "of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.(Vrse.12 NKJV) "I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.(Vrse.13 NKJV) "However, when He, the Spirit o4f truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.(Vrse.14 NKJV) "He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.(vrse.15 NKJV) "All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you. (vrse. 16 NKJV) "A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me, because I go to the Father."(Vrs.17 NKJV) Then some of His disciples said among themselves, "What is this that He says to us, 'A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me'; and, 'because I go to the Father'?"(John 16:18 NKJV) They said therefore, "What is this that He says, 'A little while'? We do not know what He is saying."(19 NKJV) Now Jesus knew that they desired to ask Him, and He said to them, "Are you inquiring among yourselves about what I said, 'A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me'? (Vrs.20 NKJV) "Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.(Vrse21 NKJV) "A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come; but as soon as she has given birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world.(Vrse. 22 NKJV) "Therefore you now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you. (vrse.23 NKJV) "And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you.(Vrse. 24 NKJV) "Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.(Vrse.25 NKJV) "These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; but the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but I will tell you plainly about the Father.(Vrse. 26 NKJV) "In that day you will ask in My name, and I do not say to you that I shall pray the Father for you;(Vrse.27 NKJV) "for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came forth from God.(Vrse. 28 NKJV) "I came forth from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father." (John 16:29 NKJV) His disciples said to Him, "See; now You are speaking plainly, and using no figure of speech!(Vrse.30 NKJV) "Now we are sure that You know all things, and have no need that anyone should question You. By this we believe that You came forth from God."(Vrs.31 NKJV) Jesus answered them, "Do you now believe?(Vrs.32 NKJV) "Indeed the hour is coming, yes, has now come, that you will be scattered, each to his own, and will leave Me alone. And yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.(Vrs.33 NKJV) "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."
Jesus Loves you!
Jesus had accomplished his mission on earth after a three year programme. He had sufficiently counseled his twelve disciples on leadership. Jesus had looked ahead and saw serious challenges awaiting them. He saw persecution and he had to warn them that the persecutions were to come to them because, those who would carry out did not accept His message.
Jesus Christ informed his followers that he was about to go back to His Father in heaven and that it was good that he goes so that he could send the Holy Spirit to planet earth so that he would convict the world of sin and of righteousness and judgment. The Holy Spirit would convict the world because the world did not believe in him. The Holy Spirit would;
Of righteousness because Jesus would leave the earth and go to heaven never to be seen again. Of judgment, because Satan, the ruler of the world has been judge.
When the Holy Spirit – who is the Spirit of Truth comes – He will guide you into All Truth! Whatever the Holy Spirit hears from me he will he will speak to you. Present and future things. The Holy Spirit will glorify Jesus Christ and take what is Christ’s and declare it to his followers. All things that the Father has are Jesus’ that is why, Jesus said, the Spirit will take what is His and declare it to us.
The Holy Spirit continually speaks to the children (I John 3:1) of God guiding them on all issues affecting them. It is pleasant to know that the Holy Spirit tells us what He is told by Jesus Christ and what God tells Jesus Christ. Jesus said all what belongs to God belongs to Him; and He gives to the Holy Spirit to give it to us. God loved the lost world so much that he gave Jesus Christ to die in the cross for the sake of all mankind. Through the death of Jesus Christ all mankind across the religious divide have been purchased and adopted as God’s children.
We are heavenly citizensWhen we accept Jesus as personal Saviour we automatically become Citizens of heaven and our lowly bodies are transformed so to conform to His glorious body. Chrits the King has dominion over all things and will therefore provide all our needs – through the Power of the HOLY SPIRIT – who link us to heaven – communicating our requests to the throne of God – and supplying to us with God’s blessings.
Take heart for the good Lord Loves you for ever! Amen
He has placed before you an open door 24/7 – Pray without ceasing and listen to the truth relayed to you by the Holy Spirit.

IT IS TIME THE CHURCH REMAINS FAITHFUL

Sermon by: Evangelist Daniel Kosei Ole Sing’eita, Sunday 4th January 2009.

In Revelation Chapter 6:3 the Bible lists the opening of seals which reflect the transition of the church throughout the ages up to our time. Jesus Christ had foretold of the event that would take place on earth just before his second coming. Jesus had told his disciples that in the last days there will be no love and people will hate each other. When we look around us people kill and maim one another and yet we are all sons and daughters of Adam and Eve. Diseases are wide spread and new ones emerge each day. Moses crossed the deep sea. You can ride over your tribulations too! God cares for and feeds a butterfly, He cares for you more! Read the Bible always It is time the church remain alert and steadfast (Habakuk 2:1).

We are living in evil days and our neighbourhood is dangerous to live in. It is time the church stand up and pray for the world, people and their families and their children. Many people will come to Jesus if we pray for them. When we compare our times with the past, mankind today suffers tremendously from heart racking events. There is widespread starvation, due to lack of rains as the seasons have changed a lot. Consequently crops have failed and animals die. It is therefore time we pray fervently and fast and run to our Lord God who is our refuge. The prophets of old gave us example by reassuring us that if all fails in the earth – the way forward is to remain steadfast in the church and to never look back to Egypt.

For this reason as a Christian I know where I ‘am coming from and where I ‘am going. God supplies us with adequate food provision for our bodily need hence people are asked to worship God in Spirit and in truth so as to avoid the outpouring of plaques. (John 6, Joshua 1:5) As we have come out of the world we need to be a living example by remaining steadfast in faith. We congregate in churches with gigantic structures which are constructed to provide shelter from rain, heat of the sun and even wind. The true church is however not the building but it is the people themselves. The world is watching the churches to see if their demeanour is in line with what they preach. Children should be guided and counselled well so that as they grow they impact positively in the lives of the people around them. The year 2009 which we have just started is going to be a year of progress. We therefore need to be strong and powerful instruments preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. God has assured his people that he will never lock them out. In December between 1st and 11th we went to town called Kasikau in Taita to evangelise. Satan has so much put in bondage the people of this little town. There are many people who have been bewitched. We were dismayed to find that every family had a harrowing tale of fear and burden. At the end of our evangelism many people accepted Jesus and they were healed from their demonic powers and were dispossessed. Most people there are devil worshippers.

A woman who had had false pregnancy for four years was delivered and fully restored. We noticed that many people who had built good houses had abandoned them and relocated elsewhere for fear of being bewitched. Christians’ weapon is Prayer and therefore need to pray continually for God will build a fire of the Holy Spirit around them. God’s assurance to mankind is sure for he will never desert them at       anay one time (Isaiah 49:15). Let us therefore come to His throne to worship Him and seek refuge! The Holy Spirit leads you to live a virtuous Christian Life

Jesus came to seek and save the lost sheep.

SERMON:By Elder Tom Odhiambo Nyaoke,SUNDAY 23rd November 2008,

AND JESUS entered and passed through Jericho. And behold, there was a man named Zachaeus, which was the chief amon publicans, and he was rich. And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature. And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way. And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacheaus, make haste, and come down: for the today I must abide at thy house. And he made haste and, came down and received him joyfully. And when they saw it,they all murmured, saying, that he was gone to to be guest with a man that is a sinner. And Zachaeus stood and said unto the Lord;behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give poor; and if I have taken anything from any man by false accusation, I restore him four fold. And Jesus told him, this day is salvation come to this house, for as much as he also is a son of Abraham. For the son of Man is come to seek and to save that which is Lost. (Luke 19:1-10)

Zacheaus was a tax collector who had earned his riches through crooked ways. He used to harrase tax payers and demanded lost of money as bribes. He was disliked by many people and he was very unpopular. Zacheaus hear about Jesus and he looked for an opportunity to see him but became difficult for him for he was short. One day he was happy to hear that Jesus was passing near his home and he hurried to the roadside to have a climpse of him. He was disappointed when he got to the road for a huge crowd had already gone a head of him and formed a wall therefore making it difficult for him to see Jesus. He was not going to let that opportunity to pass him and he had to think quickly for a solution. He observed that Jesus was engaged in addressing the crowd, so he ran a head and climbed a tree so as to have a good view of him. People who saw wondered what the tax man was doing on top of a tree. A rich man climbing a tree? it looked weard. But Zachaeus was not bothered, he knew the desire of his heart, he wanted to have a look at Jesus even if he will not notice him. He was going to be satisfied even if he saw him passing under need the tree.

When Jesus arrived where Zachaeus was, he stopped for a while as he speak to people, then he looked up the tree and asked Zachaeus to climb down for he was going to be his guest that day. It is our duty to seek Jesus every day. Zachaeus desired to meet Jesus and he did the unusual thing in order to see Jesus. As a result of his hard work to look for the Lord he went with Jesus to his home that day.

Many people murmured and complained bitterly when Jesus went to Zachaeus home. But Zachaeus the tax collector had repented, he pledged to pay back four times to those he had robbed. As human beings we commit sin habitually and we need to repent and seek forgiveness from God. Jesus told Zachaeus that Salvation had reached his home that day adding that he came to seek the lost (Ezek 34:16).

The Maasai people keep livestock. They rear sheep and they look after their heards with dedication and determination. Whenever there is a lot of sun or during a rainy season they patiently look after their animals and with great patients and with love. They saveguard their animals from wild animals in the savannah such as lions, cheetah, hynas etc. They love their flock and take care of them. When one of the sheep get lost, they look for it and would not stop until they find it. Jesus the good shepheard came to look for the lost sheep (Isaih 40:11) A good shepherd looks after the heards. All those saved must keep their faith to ensure they live a righteous life. Seek the Lord always and live! (Timothy 1:15,16)

THE DANGER OF LOOK BACK TO EGYPT!

By Apostle William K Korir \

The Israelites were led out of bondage in Egpyt and they were to entered a land flowing with milk and honey. The rough desert terrain made their journey unbearable. But God was always beside them, encouraging them in every step they made. He opened ways accross the sea. Shielded them from the venomous serpents and scorpions in the desert. provided a shed for them through the desert heat. Yet as they approached the borders of Canaan, they tempted God. They cried bitterly refused to separate with the country of bondage. They yearned for the meat and onions and accused God for giving them tasteless bread; calling it worthless; - the heavenly bread - Mana. The wife of Lot had looked back in heart and accused God for sending them awat from her perceived wonderful hom of Sodom and Gomorah she was turned into a billar of salt. The consequences of disobeying God is death. Lot's wife died - was frozen into a pillar of salt. Many Israelites perished when they murmured against God. Christians should always learn to love God and to live a christian lives. God has good knews for His children. He has good plans for all those who love him. God has never destined any one to be lost for he is not happy over a perishing sinner. He is alwasy knocking at the door of your heart and if you could listine to his still voice and welcome him in, he will entered and live with you for ever. Learn to pray and to invite him to your heart for he is faithful. Do not look back to the things of the world which you had abandoned. There is happiness in God Jehovah alone. Search Him all the time and all the days of your Life and He will never live you. ISAIAH 41:10.13; jER. 29:11-13; 2Chronicles 16:9. Just learn to always follow Jesus and He will never abandone you.

Trust in God always for He loves you.

By Apostle William K Korir

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek my My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their land (2Chronicles 7:14).

Throughout the human History God has demonstrated His love for mankind despite their wickedness. To the first mankind, Adam and folks, the Bible says ....." ...God blessed them, and ...said to them, Be fruitful and mutiply; fill the earth and subdue it;... and God saw that .......everything he had made was indeed .... very good. Genesis 1:28,31).God had assured Adam and his beloved wife Eve a happy life; provided they neither touch the tree in the middle of the garden nor eat its fruits...that of knowledge of good and bad(Genesis 2:17).

Adam & Eve disobeyed God's instructions and brought pain and death to the entire universe. But God had greater plans for mankind (Jeremiah 29:11)for He loved mankind so much that He offered Jesus Christ to die on the cross in order to save mankind from eternal damnation(John 3:16)

Adam disobeyed God and ate the forbidden fruit and was sent out of the garden of Eden, to till it and to look for food the hard way. As time passed by, people increased in the land and after several generations; people turned their face away from the Lord God and sinned greately. This brought sorrow to God who regreted having creating mankind. However; God's love for mankind was far much greater than His sorrow (Genesis 6:5,6). God therefore, chose to give a second chance to mankind. God was going to save those who responded to his invitation. He saw a righteous man named Noah;(Gen. 7:1) and identified him to warn the world of an imminent distruction to all disobedient people. Noah was tasked to call on all peoples to repent of their wrong doings (sins) and turn to God. God also instructed Noah to build a ship (ARK) which was to house those who would listen to the warning and repented of their sins and accept to board the ship. Some land animals were also allowed to board the ship so as to conserve them for regeneration.

Noah, preached the message of Salvation for 120 years, but regretably no one received his end time message. The people of those days rediculed the poor old man. They potrayed him as a man with some mental complications. Noah was not discouraged by the hostile environment in which he operated in and for 120 straight years, he preached the gospel of Salvation - warning the world to repent and enter the ship to receive salvation.

Finally God had given enough time to the people of those days. He told Noah to go and bring animals to enter the ship,(7 of clean animals & 2 of unclean) according to their species and he did so without any difficulty. Finally the floodwaters came on the earth when Noah was 600 years old (Gen. 7:5).

The Bible says, that all the people in the land and every living thing died and only Noah and those who were with him in the ark totaling 8 in number, servived the tradegy. For 150 days water covered the whole earth (Gen. 7:24). God promised Noah that never again was the world to be destroyed by a universal flood (Genesis 9:11-17) but had been reserved for eternal fire.

God has appointed His annointed Apostles to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the whole world for people of this generation to REPENT and TURN away from their Sins. Jesus Himself lounged the great Commission, for all His Servants to go and spread the good knews of His soon coming, throughout the World (Mathew 28:19). About 2000 years ago, Jesus ascended to heaven, promising that he was going to prepare a place for you and me in heaven and He will come back to take us to heaven (John 14:1..)

The Holy Bible advises us to seek the things above where Jesus is.. (Col. 3:1..), otherwise it would be difficult to escape the judgement of God, if we neglect the great salvation to mankind, spoken of by Jesus Himself.. (Hebrews 2:3).

Dear Reader .. I urge you therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lust of men, but for the will of God (I Peter 4:1-3)

Trust in God at all times for He is God and Loving Father. Do not therefore waver in your faith but move steadily ... seeking His face daily... and waiting upon His everlasting promises for you. He is God and He does not change (Malachi 3:6)

SERMON;HOW TO SERVIVE THE STORMS OF LIFE DIVORCE AND REJECTION

(Mal 2:11-17, Luke 7:36-50)

If no other reason, so many of us are taking a battering at the moment. We are like a Fishing fleet in a storm it has to stop fishing ride out the storm. For some it can be so rough some never fish again.
Christians called not to have storms, but to be able to ride them out better than most
I see many people not surviving the storm, either they sink and are never seen again or worse they give up on God
Big ships can sink and little ships survive - why?
No oneavoids storms but you can learn how to ride the out
Some can ride out storms and still be effective – go fishing.
Some of best Christians are always battling huge storms.
Many different types of storms, and we can’t cover them all this mini series:

April 22nd Divorce and Rejection
April 29th Bereavement
May 6th Growing Up
13th Debt & Unemployment
Why do rejection? And why divorce? Rejection is the most crippling of human interactions – as a child by other children, but also in courtship friendship and jobs· Reality TV thrives on the observation of others suffering some form of rejection. I Would argue worst form of rejection is divorce because

No one marries with divorce in mind
Marriage is about the Total giving of all of yourself. Hopes, fears dreams, you offer not only to receive their total care but also to give yours. You offer your whole life. Thrown back at you and has unwanted stamped all over it.
It leaves people permanently damaged and can mean they are unable to make sense of life or themselves or God ever again.
Huge topic can’t cover it all today
Lying behind it is the issue of does God reject and why do I feel that God himself has rejected me when others reject me?
So we are going to do three things:

We are going to remind ourselves about being on the receiving end of rejection and how that feels.
We are going to look about Our Heavenly father does rejection and why
See if we can see how we can come up with some ways of dealing with things.
I think if I asked you to remember a time when you were rejected and to recall how it felt no one would have any problems doing that. For some of you the pain is still so real you cannot bear it.First lesson to grasp everyone goes through it and is hurt by it.It is not just you. But how we cope with it makes all the difference. Rejection hits me in two ways.Way one is it is in you face you can see it and every one knows you have been brushed off, it hurts, your angry and if you me, you let them know at once that was not a good thing to have done. And they either back peddle or they don’t. Way two is when something is said or done and you take it in you stride and some time later may be days later you get it and then it hurts and if anything it hurts more because you can’t do anything about it.Both these events lead to the worst thing about rejection gets into your memory and it can immerge at anytime and hurt you.In fact it happened just as I was writing this bit on Friday. There are many ways in which we can be rejected

Not accepting our advice.
Not listening to us
Doing the opposite of what we requested or hoped for.
Being forgotten
Not getting that job or that promotion
Having our offer of help refused
The list is endless Which bring us to the next part of it
The way it is done. If someone says no to us, but we know they really care about us, they value us, know our situation and want what is best for us. A statement like "I do not think that is best for you right now does not hurt." or "Thank you for you opinion and suggestions, but I really feel this is the best way forward at this time.” is easier to take when someone who cares says it the right way What lies behind the hurt of all this rejection is the hope, and the fear, of “If only this person had understood me, if only they could see the real me, they would not have done that.". Allied to that is the thought "I honestly thought I was better than that person why can’t they see what the are missing in me.
The pain of rejection lies other have only seen part of us, or have misunderstood or part of us. The other part of it is that we wanted to fly. The thing that has been denied us would have helped grow or become better. It would have enabled us to fulfil our true potential. Or at the very least it would have been a just reward for all our hard work. So now we fallback into obscurity or never really grow into who we should be. And the worst part is we cannot go back and do it again. We don’t get a second go a life. And it seems too much to get up, dust yourself off and go again, because this time it will be worse when you fail. Now there is so much we could add to this, but with divorce it is a thousand times worse, because you have already given so much of yourself and all you have given is lying in ruins around you .Worst of all everyone knows and maybe they are laughing, or worse they are sneering.
So let us move on to God. Given it is so horrible to be rejected. why does God allow it and surely he would never do it himself? Well our Malachi reading makes it very clear that the Father does reject and he can be pretty cutting with the comments that go with it. He tells us he cannot abide people who worship him and something else.He hates it when people rejected their partners for a newer better model and because they do, that he rejects them. He hates people who "clothe themselves with violence". And those who call him unjust or thinks He does not care. Rejection really does upset God; why, because he has been rejected so many times. Firstly in the Garden of Eden. Secondly in the Life of Israel. Thirdly In His son on the cross. Fourthly by an unfaithful church. And Fifthly an unresponsive world
Yet our Father God shows us some very interesting things about handling rejection. First is he keeps going, he goes on working with people despite it all. Secondly he never ends community - He lives with the other members of the Trinity, the angels and redeemed humanity in heaven.
He does not let rejection define him. He only rejects after years of wanton rejection of others. And he does so because his demand for justice for the oppressed. He offers forgiveness. He gives his people not only healing but also to transform themselves so completely that they can live new better lives. He hides our new lives in him

1 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.4 When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Col 3:1-4 (NIV)

All this is no good unless we can access all that God has for us. See if we can see how we can come up with some ways of dealing with things. We see from our Gospel reading that he does not reject the woman when every one else did. He deals gently with Simon’s rejection of him. And he points how God want to deal with us by forgive ness. Because what really hurts us and is the thing that debilitates us, when we consider our rejection is this:
How much did I contribute to my own rejection?
What was it that I did that caused this to happen?
I know I too need to be forgiven even though I am the one who got hurt the most. Which is why we think God has rejected us. Is the big rejection really God punishing us by other means.
So here is what we have to do when we are facing rejection and disappointment.

Don’t give up on prayer
Need for close walk with Jesus
Understand your true identity
A good friend who tells the truth
Supportive group of friends/home group.
Belief in that there is a plan for your life.
There are always lessons to learn and you can be healed. It is prayer, not time that changes things. It is not always about you it is mostly about them.
Learn about you and learn to love what God has made, Jesus has saved and the Spirit fills.
The power to forgive will set you free.
Amen
