Jesus spoke tough to his audience that day. He reminded them of their ancestors who killed the prophets of God. He said this they did because of their unbelief. He castigated them as being people of hardened hearts and if they do not change they were going to be condemned to hell. Jesus message was very clear; saying God has always loved them - He said it had been God's desire to put His arms around all His people; just as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings - but the people have always rebelled against God.( Mathew 23:29-39, 24:1-42).
After giving his speech Jesus later retreated to the serene Mount of Olives to pray and meditate. His disciples followed him and inquired further on the message he delivered at the temple.Jesus asked his disciples to be on guard always; saying many false prophets would come and lie to them saying Christ had come. He told them that widespread wars will be witnessed throughout the world; Countries will fight each other; famines and earthquakes will occur. Jesus said all these occurrence will be like the the first pains of child birth.Jesus said his followers will be persecuted and the weak ones will leave their faith, but whoever holds out to the end will be saved. THE GOOD NEWS ABOUT THE KINGDOM WILL BE PREACHED THROUGHOUT THE WORLD AS A WITNESS TO ALL NATIONS; AND THEN THE END WILL COME.
I have brought you this message of hope and it is wisdom to listen to God's counsel. Jesus went to heaven about 2000 years ago to prepare a place for you and me.
The occurrences taking place around us indeed confirms the words of Jesus - and provides a very strong indicator that Jesus is coming soon and very soon. Please chose today to follow Jesus and be counted among God's children. There is no good reward for those living in sin. Jesus died at the cross at Calvary and through shedding of his blood; he purchased all of us so that we can inherit with him the blessings of God. Jesus promised that all those who refuse to accept him will forever loose their lives when he returns with his reward.
The Bible in the book of I John 3:7 - 8 states - " Let no one deceives you, my children! whoever does what is right is righteous, just as Christ is righteous. Whoever continues to sin belongs to the devil, because the devil has sinned from the very beginning. The son of God appeared for this very reason to destroy what the devil had done.
Accept Jesus Christ today! and be counted as a child of God.And when Jesus comes soon he will take you to heaven together with all the saints.
Pray this PRAYER!
" Dear Jesus! I have read this message and I have learnt that through your death at the cross you purchased me. I now confess all my sins to you and repent from all my past mistakes. Please cleanse me by your blood and make me whole. I have decided to follow your foot-step till you come for me my Lord. I'am now yours for real and you can enter into your temple - My heart! and transform me so I can conform to your attributes. I pray all these in Jesus mighty Name! Amen and Amen! - Thank you Jesus! for saving me!"
You are now saved. Look for a suitable church who believes in the Godhead (Father, Son and the Holy Spirit) near you and tell the Pastor of your new faith In Jesus Christ.
