CHILDREN DEDICATION

Many a times children are thought to have little or no role at all to play in the society. During the time of Jesus, people of those days believed children and women were insignificant in societal roles. This is why, when some group of women approached Jesus bringing their children, the desciples shouted at them not to disturb the Lord. The Bible Says,Jesus was not happy with their attitude and therefore rebuked them as he warmly welcomed the women and children to go closer to Him. He later taught the crowd and urged them to be like the children and warned them that unless they became like children; no one would enter heaven. It is for this reason that Christians should ememulate children as their role models in their christian endeavours.

We should all make it our responsibilty to guard and train our children as they grow for them to live according to God's will.This is possible when we create programmes in our churches to guide our beloved children according to the ways of the Lord God. We should therefore dedicate them to the Lord at their early age and when they grow up they will always be under the protection of our almighty God.

Apostle William Korir of Hope Ministries World has dedicated to the Lord God a total of 13 children, between 1st may 2008 and 1st June 2008. The following are the children dedicated to the Lord by the Hope Ministries World:-

Elijah Sasine Lenina who was born on 4th January 2007 was dedicated on 18th May 2008, Evans Oluoch Okumu was dedicated on 26th April 2008, Ogendo Richard was dedicated 26th April 2007, Eliud Mayaka Richard was dedicated on 26th April 2007, Laureen Cheptoo Sombey who was born on 7th February 2008 was dedicated 18th May 2008, Sheldon Rotich Sombey who was born on 1st May 2000 was dedicated on18/5/2008, Martin Kibet Ngetich who was born on 14th March 2007 was dedicated on 1st June 2008, Mercy Chepkorir Ngetich who was born on 9th February 2005 was dedicated on 1st June 2008, Marion Chepkurui Ngetich who was born on 9th December 2002 was dedicated on 1st June 2008,Venessa Chepkoech Kipyegon who was born on 2nd August 1999 was dedicated on 1st June 2008, Teddy who was born on 20th September 2003 was dedicated on 1st June 2008,Victor Ondimo Isoe who was born in 1996 was dedicated on 1st June 2008, Dickson Sammy Isoe who was born in 1995 was dedicated on 1st June 2008

Parents are encouraged to bring their children to Hope Ministries World to be blessed and dedicated to God.
