By Apostle William K. Korir,

Love is eternal and is from God. God himself is love and His Love is deep and everlasting for his children. God also wants his children to love him and to remain loyal and faithful to him all the time. Enoch loved God and he lived a holy, righteous life. God saw that he was the only loyal and righteous man in the whole world. God took Enoch to heaven after walking with God on earth for 300 years. God asked Abraham to leave his home in Babylon to a country he would show him and Abraham obeyed his voice and he and his family left (Genesis 12:1-4). God blessed Abraham with a son whom he named him Isaac and when he had grown God came to Abraham and asked him to to offer his son as a sacrifice to him and Abraham obeyed (Genesis 22:1-3)

These great man of God set a classic example to us all. He obeyed God and did what God asked him to do without complaining. The followers of Jesus Christ were ordinary people with ordinary behaviours. They failed simple tests and disowned Jesus when some tried to associate them with him. Fear ruled in their hearts and they forgot all what Jesus had taught them to save their lives (Mark 14:45-50). Prophet Jonah fled when he was tasked to go to Nineveh to warn the inhabitants of that land to repent or perish. Poor Jonah thought that it wasn't a good idea to go to that land and so fled to Tarshis instead. God who is everywhere was closely monitoring Jonah's movement. He sent a whale who swallowed Jonah and embarked on a three days journey, all this time Jonah in his stomach. It defeats human logic how a person can stop breathing for three days and three nights yet lives.

This was possible with God (Jonah 1:1-3,16). Three young slaves in Babylon (Shadrack, Meshack and Abednecho)remained loyal to God even under very difficult moments. The King gave a decree for everybody in Babylon to worship an Idol he had erected but the three young men told the King on his face they would not worship the idol for God would save them and added that even if God did not save them; they would still not worship the idol. The King was very very angry with them and so he ordered for the furnace to be heated seven times hotter.

The three young men were tied with strips and thrown into the furnace but only the stripes got burned and the soldiers who threw them into the furnace died of heat. The Lord was already in the furnace and the young men were not harmed. They did not even smell fire.Daniel 3:17-19). It is therefore prudent for you to serve God with loyalty and to pursue peace with all people and Holiness without which no one will see God (Hebrews 12:14). May the Lord make you increase in love & establish your heart blameless in holiness before our God at the coming of Christ (I Thessalonians 3:12,13).

HOPE MINISTRIES WORLD IS TODAY'S VOICE OF HOPE TO THE WORLD. JESUS CALLS ON ALL PEOPLE TO REPENT OF THEIR SINS AND FOLLOW HIM; AND RENEW THEIR RELATIONSHIPS WITH GOD! IT IS TIME THE WORLD TURN AWAY FROM THEIR SINFUL WAYS AND WORSHIP GOD THE CREATOR OF HEAVENS, EARTH, SEA ALL THINGS.
