I 'am the true vine, and my father is the vine dresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in Him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. John 15:1-5).
God loves his children so much and takes care of there needs. Jesus equates God with a farmer who tends his crops to ensure they continue to be healthy. A farmer ploughs his crops and put soil around it. The farmer removes any unhealthy branches and put them away to be burnt once they dry up. Jesus says he is the vine and his followers are his branches. The branches (Christians) remains healthy as long as the continue to remain attached to Jesus Christ. They draw spiritual food from the body of Jesus Christ and are powerful in their spiritual standing. Jesus calls you today to be faithful and to remain in him.
A tree growing by the riverside has green leaves as its roots draws water continually and has no shortage in times of drought. In like manner the words of the Lord are like pure words, like silver dried in furnace of earth, purified seven times (Psalms 12:6).
