By Apostle William Korir

Praise the Lord, with all my heart I will thank the LORD in the assembly of his people The Lord does not let us forget his wonderful actions; he is kind and merciful, He provides food for those who honour him; he never forgets his covenant. He has shown his power to his people by giving them the lands of foreigners. Psalms 111:4. God has wonderful plans for his children (us), for he gives us food, clothing, shelter and all our needs. We are required to appreciate God's loving kindness by pleasing him in our actions. We must abstain from committing sin. We must show kindness to the less privileged and assist those in need and God would surely bless us. Thank the LORD for surrounding us with the heavenly angels and the Holy Spirit, to guide us. The Lord Jesus came and died for our sins so that we can be called the children of God. Accept JESUS! today as your Lord and Saviour and become God's Child.

By Apostle William Korir,

Dear Great People of Japan, You are great people have diverse religious beliefs. Your largest religion is Shinto with about 119 million adherents. The second largest is Bhudhism with a huge number of followers plus other adherents such as Muslims and Christians constituting only 1% of the entire population. You are a successful nation and the world follows you with your power of great innovation. The people of Japan are hard working and reap the fruits of their hard work by producing the best in the world. I truly respect the gods of Japanes people, and I truly salute you for your faithflness. Today I bring you good news of a most powerful God called Jehova and son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. God created all things in the universe and on earth. Jesus loves all the people of Japan. He created the first man named Adam. God took a rib from Adam and out of it He created Eve and brought her to Adam as wife and the mother of all peoples of the World. God blessed the couple and told them to multiply and fill the world. Adam's family has multiplied and now stands at some 8 billion as we stand now. God created all human beings for a good purpose, to worship him alone. In the beginning God created the earth and the universe (sun, moon, stars). God created the sea and all the creatures under the sea. God created all things and all land animals including cripping insects. All that we see, for example mountains, trees, wind, storm, clouds were all created by God Jehovah,by Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit. This God is all powerful and is a creator of sll thst we see. Accept Jesus as your personal Saviour and receive eternal life. All that we see will come to an end. It is only through God that we shall receive the power to become God's children. All peoples of this world belong to one God who is in heaven. He knows all the secrets in human's hearts and whats more, God chose each one of us to be born and he knows the number of days alloted to each one of us. Accept Jesus today and receive eternal Kingdom. Jesus loves you so much and died at cross so that the sins which we inherited from Adam were placed in His body so that we can qualify to be God's children. You people of Japan, Jesus is the Saviour of the world and he is coming back again to take to heaven all those who believe in him and remain faithful. Jesus is Lord and he created all those other things the world call God, for example the sun, moon, stars, mountains etc. . If you accept Jesus today you will have no problem because he already knows you. Believe in Him and he will transform your life. Look for a book known as the Holy Bible, it speaks about God the creator. If you allow Jesus into your life today he will transform you and your life will never be the same againI will teach you how to pray. Prayer. Dear Jesus! I have today learned that you died in order to save me. Thank you Lord for such a great demonstration of Love for me. Please forgive me my past mistakes and lead me in the righteous path and teach me to know more about your Kingdom. Yes Jesus I want to be your follower, and I need your Holy Spirit to teach me the way to God. Thank for giving me the Holy Spirit in Jesus Name! Amen.

JESUS FOR THE LOVING PEOPLE OF UGANDA

By Apostle William Korir,

Dear loving People of Uganda!, I bring you all the end time message. Jesus is coming soon to take those faithful people who have lived a chaste life. God look across the villages of Uganda and sees every person with His aim of blessing them. God loves you all for you are fearfully and wonderfully made. it doesn't matter whether you are physically challenged. God intended for you to be that way for his good reason. therefore never blame any one for your condition for this does not change God's plan for you. God loves you the more and is satisfied the way you are. He has good plans for you, to prosper you and not to harm you, for he is your God and there is no other.Jeremiah 29:11; Isaiah 41:10,13. The people of Uganda your Country was once called the pearl of Africa. It is in this respect I refer to you all as God's people.

The almighty God loves Uganda and declares unto all of you to turn to Jesus and receive eternal life. Without Jesus Christ, there is no life, it is therefore prudent to accept Jesus today and be transformed so as to conform to the divine attributes of God. Jesus died for all the Ugandans, about two thousand (2,000) years ago. He shed his dear blood in the Calvary Cross for all the peoples of Uganda. There is therefore no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus, who do walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. In Jesus Christ all are set free (Romans 8:1). Ugandans you have a choice to make, for there are two ways; one that leads people to heaven and the other that would lead people to eternal fire. Accepting Jesus and become a follower of Him would leam that we have to make sacrifices, to stop leaving in sin and yielding to the desires of the flesh. In the book of Galatians 5:19-21, the desires of the flesh are enumerated, and people urged to stop practising it, so as to promote peace and Love. In the same Chapter verse 22... encouraging words have been stating that would boost our love and harmony.

Those who love Jesus ought to walk in the way pleasing to God. God is very understanding for he invites all irrespective of the serious mistakes committed in the past, including, murder. God has promised to close your past record and open a new chapter for you. Isaiah 1:18. God knows you by name and he loves you the way you are. He is prepared to transform you into a good person and he will protect you all the days of you life. You need to mend your ways and avoid all evil. If for any reason you have engaged in devil worship, take flight and seek the protection of Jesus and he will instantly enter into your life. For God so loved the world that he gave His only Son Jesus, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life (John 3:16).

I declare Jesus for Uganda NOW! and all peoples are invited to accept Jesus now! I ask you to Pray this Prayer; Dear Jesus, I humbly come before you to confess my Sins. I know I have lived a life which is contrary to your love. I have learnt that you died for my sins at the Calvary Cross. therefore Lord I turn away from my unrewarding past to follow you. I believe in the message I have read and would now serve you for the rest of my life. I will speak your message until you stop me Lord. Thank you for saving me and making me your child (I John 3:1). I pray all this believing in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ My Lord! Amen.

By Apostle William Korir,

Dear People of Lesotho,

I bring you today the end time message from Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. Jesus knows your weakness and he has today opened an open door which know one can shut (Rev. 3:8). About 2000 years ago, Jesus died at the cross and purchased you to himeslf. God carried out the work of reconciliation so as that you can receive eternal kingdom.God loves you so much that he went as far as letting Jesus to die at the cross so that you can be set free. Jesus died at the cross so that he could pay the penalties that was meant for you and me. Jesus died at the cross for the wrongs he never committed so that we all can be forgiven our sins. His death was necessary for without it no one could access eternal kingdom of God. Jesus death was God's plan of salvation. Through Jesus death at the Calvary cross; all mankind has found a new lease of life and are renewed through the power of the Holy spirit parting ways with the old habits. All those who accept Jesus as their personal saviour becomes God's children. And there is therefore no more condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus. Rom 8:1, People of Lesotho, this message is specifically for you all. Try Jesus and your lives will never be the same again.

The Holy Bible states that those born of God will not live in sin because God has planted the seed in them and therefore they cannot sin at all. (I John 3:7-9). Accept Jesus now! and your life will be fully transformed so as to be like Christ's. Please get in touch with us through email shown at the top of the website and tell us how you have been blessed by this message. ACCEPT JESUS AS YOUR PERSONAL SAVIOUR NOW!

By Apostle William Korir

God speaks to you today through Hope Ministries World, Sauti ya Tumaini - Kenya. This Wonderful message is meant for you! Many Many years ago, God created planet earth. The triune God (Father+Son+Holy Spirit) created the earth and created man and placed him in a wonderful Garden to live happily.God promised happiness to all mankind on condition that they live happily and obey his teachings. God wanted man to worship him out of choice and out of love. God gave for food several trees in the garden except for one tree, which he had ordered them not to touch it or face death. Satan, who had rebelled against God came down to Eden, and entered the snake whom he empowered to speak.

The snake spoke to Eve the wife of Adam and engaged her in a discussing which culminated in her submitting to the snakes appeal for Eve to eat the forbidden fruit in the middle of the garden. she ate the forbidden fruits and gave some to her husband Adam who also ate. Death entered the earth, through the first family, Adam and Eve. By eating the forbidden tree, death entered our planet, and people will continue dying, until Jesus second coming which will take place soon. Jesus Christ (God) came to planet earth and was born as a babe through one virgin young girl named Mary, who was engaged to Joseph of Nazareth about 2000 years ago. Jesus was conceived through the power of the Holy Spirit, and not through human sexual intercourse.

The babe was born and he grew as any other child and when he was fully grown he taught good news message from God the father who send him. Jesus trained twelve men for three years who were to carry out his work after he went back to heaven. He was hated by Satan, who used some religious leaders to attack the Ministry of Jesus Christ. Several times, they tried to kill him, but Jesus avoided it until he completed his work. When he had completed his mission, he willingly accepted to be arrested, tortured and later hanged at the cross, to die alongside two robbers. Jesus died and was placed in a tomb, but he resurrected on the third day. For forty days Jesus encouraged his followers and later ascending to heaven promising to come to take his faithful people back to heaven. What shall I do to be taken to heaven by Jesus? so you may ask. It is simple. Jesus accept Jesus Now as your personal Saviour and start doing good to all those you interact daily. Stop doing bad things, hating others, and love all including your enemies. God Knows you by name and loves you so much. He has good plans for you and he desires so much that you should go with him to heaven. Satan is working hard to stop you from going to heaven with Jesus Christ, by bringing lies to you.

The role of Satan is to create fear and to bring death amongst the people. Jesus brings life to all who believe in him. Accept him today and receive eternal life. You don't need to worry; Jesus knew you before you were born. He has been with you all along, protecting you always. He loves you and he is ever with you. The moment you allow him to enter into your heart, He will transform you to bear his likeness. If you accept him now he will fill your heart with Joy.

GOD'S CHILDREN THROUGH CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD!

By Apostle William K Korir

God created mankind in his likeness and intended good for them. He has never abandoned them and he continually watches over them (2 Chronicles 16:9). He says if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land (2 Chronicles 14:7). God has always had good plans for mankind and he wills well for all of them. Throughout the ages God has kept close watch over all mankind; and has used every opportunity to deal with all issues affecting mankind. God loved mankind from creation and that is why when man fell into sin, God offered his son to die at the cross to save the fallen man. Man’s action led to the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

God’s love for mankind made him to offer his son Jesus Christ to be hanged on the cross for the forgiveness of their sins. He gave his son to die so that whoever believes in him will attain eternal life. See how much our Father in heaven loves us, for he allows us to be called his children, and we really are! But the people who belong to this world don’t know God, so they don’t understand that we are his children. Yes, dear friends we are already God’s children, and we can’t even imagine what we will be like when Christ returns. But what we do know that when he comes we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is. And all who believe this will keep themselves pure just as Christ is pure. ( I John 3:1-3). For you are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptised into Christ have put on Christ. You are now all one in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:26-28. Let us therefore run away from the works of the flesh (Gal. 5:19-21) and embrace the fruit of the spirit (Gal. 5:22-25). We have been delivered from the power of darkness and translated into the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (Colossians 1:13-17).

He that spared not his own son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? (Romans 8:32) Jesus Christ met Saul on the road to Damascus, given him a new name – Paul, and sent him to the gentiles to; “open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light , and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me” (Acts 26:18). All things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28). For I ‘am persuaded that neither death, nor life nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:38).

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. He that believed in him is not condemned, but he that believed not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten son of God. (John 3:16, 18). I besiege you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God (Romans 12:1-2,4-6). Therefore since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily hinders our progress. And let us run with endurance the race that God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, on whom our faith depends from start to finish. He was willing to die a shameful death at the cross on the cross because of the joy he knew would be his afterwards. Now he is seated in the place of highest honour beside throne of God. For consider that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. (Hebrews 12:1...)

Dear reader! God knows you before you were born and he knows the number of years assigned to you. The Holy Spirit and Holy Angels guide you and in secret speak to you and encourages you to do that which is good. God has however offered you the power of choice to chat your destiny. This is why God express his love to us through offering Christ so that whoever believes shall have eternal life. Those who do not believe shall perish. Will accept Jesus as your personal Saviour and begin a new journey towards heaven? Jesus is knocking at the door of your heart and if you allow him in, he will enter and live with you. PRAY THIS PRAYER AFTER ME. Dear Jesus, I have learnt that you died for my sin and have purchased through your precious blood which was poured out at the cross. I confess all my sins and invite you to enter into my heart and sanctify me with your blood, Lord. Thank you for accepting to cleans me! I ‘am now yours, never to be separated again, in the name of Jesus Christ my Lord – Amen. PRAISE THE LORD - You are now a child of God.

THERE IS HOPE! - THE HOLY SPIRIT LINKS GOD’S CHILDREN TO HEAVEN

SERMON PRESENTED BY APOSTLE WILLIAM K KORIR ON SUNDAY,FEBRUARY 2, 2009
KEY TEXT: JOHN CHAPTER 16:1...
"These things I have spoken to you that you should not be made to stumble. (Vrs.2 NKJV) "They will put you out of the synagogues; yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service.(vrs.3 NKJV) "And these things they will do to you because they have not known the Father nor Me. (Vrs.4 NKJV) "But these things I have told you, that when the time comes, you may remember that I told you of them. And these things I did not say to you at the beginning, because I was with you.(Vrs.5 NKJV) "But now I go away to Him who sent Me, and none of you asks Me, 'Where are You going?'(Vrs. 6 NKJV) "But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart.(Vrs.7 NKJV) "Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.(Vrs.8 NKJV) "And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:(Vrs.NKJV) "of sin, because they do not believe in Me;(Vrs10 NKJV) "of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more;(Vrse.11 NKJV) "of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.(Vrse.12 NKJV) "I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.(Vrse.13 NKJV) "However, when He, the Spirit o4f truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.(Vrse.14 NKJV) "He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.(vrse.15 NKJV) "All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you. (vrse. 16 NKJV) "A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me, because I go to the Father."(Vrs.17 NKJV) Then some of His disciples said among themselves, "What is this that He says to us, 'A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me'; and, 'because I go to the Father'?"(John 16:18 NKJV) They said therefore, "What is this that He says, 'A little while'? We do not know what He is saying."(19 NKJV) Now Jesus knew that they desired to ask Him, and He said to them, "Are you inquiring among yourselves about what I said, 'A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me'? (Vrs.20 NKJV) "Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.(Vrse21 NKJV) "A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come; but as soon as she has given birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world.(Vrse. 22 NKJV) "Therefore you now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you. (vrse.23 NKJV) "And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you.(Vrse. 24 NKJV) "Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.(Vrse.25 NKJV) "These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; but the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but I will tell you plainly about the Father.(Vrse. 26 NKJV) "In that day you will ask in My name, and I do not say to you that I shall pray the Father for you;(Vrse.27 NKJV) "for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came forth from God.(Vrse. 28 NKJV) "I came forth from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father." (John 16:29 NKJV) His disciples said to Him, "See; now You are speaking plainly, and using no figure of speech!(Vrse.30 NKJV) "Now we are sure that You know all things, and have no need that anyone should question You. By this we believe that You came forth from God."(Vrs.31 NKJV) Jesus answered them, "Do you now believe?(Vrs.32 NKJV) "Indeed the hour is coming, yes, has now come, that you will be scattered, each to his own, and will leave Me alone. And yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.(Vrs.33 NKJV) "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."
Jesus Loves you!
Jesus had accomplished his mission on earth after a three year programme. He had sufficiently counseled his twelve disciples on leadership. Jesus had looked ahead and saw serious challenges awaiting them. He saw persecution and he had to warn them that the persecutions were to come to them because, those who would carry out did not accept His message.
Jesus Christ informed his followers that he was about to go back to His Father in heaven and that it was good that he goes so that he could send the Holy Spirit to planet earth so that he would convict the world of sin and of righteousness and judgment. The Holy Spirit would convict the world because the world did not believe in him. The Holy Spirit would;
Of righteousness because Jesus would leave the earth and go to heaven never to be seen again. Of judgment, because Satan, the ruler of the world has been judge.
When the Holy Spirit – who is the Spirit of Truth comes – He will guide you into All Truth! Whatever the Holy Spirit hears from me he will he will speak to you. Present and future things. The Holy Spirit will glorify Jesus Christ and take what is Christ’s and declare it to his followers. All things that the Father has are Jesus’ that is why, Jesus said, the Spirit will take what is His and declare it to us.
The Holy Spirit continually speaks to the children (I John 3:1) of God guiding them on all issues affecting them. It is pleasant to know that the Holy Spirit tells us what He is told by Jesus Christ and what God tells Jesus Christ. Jesus said all what belongs to God belongs to Him; and He gives to the Holy Spirit to give it to us. God loved the lost world so much that he gave Jesus Christ to die in the cross for the sake of all mankind. Through the death of Jesus Christ all mankind across the religious divide have been purchased and adopted as God’s children.
We are heavenly citizensWhen we accept Jesus as personal Saviour we automatically become Citizens of heaven and our lowly bodies are transformed so to conform to His glorious body. Chrits the King has dominion over all things and will therefore provide all our needs – through the Power of the HOLY SPIRIT – who link us to heaven – communicating our requests to the throne of God – and supplying to us with God’s blessings.
Take heart for the good Lord Loves you for ever! Amen
He has placed before you an open door 24/7 – Pray without ceasing and listen to the truth relayed to you by the Holy Spirit.

IN THE STORM THE DISCIPLES CORPORATELY WORSHIPPED JESUS!

By Apostle William K Korir,

“Then those who were in the boat came and worshipped Him, saying you are truly the son of God” (Mathew 14:33)

Jesus called his disciples from various walks of life. His calling of his followers was so powerful and miraculous. He just told them follow me! And they did follow him. They followed him wherever he went; witnessed miracles Jesus did but one thing they never did was worship him.
Jesus:
Healed the lepers;
Forgave adulterous woman,
Preached to masses
Fed the thousands of hungry people with two little fish and five loaves of bread
The disciples witnessed all these miracles; but they did not worship Jesus.

They were willing;
To follow him anywhere,
Leave their families behind,
Cast out demons,
Be in the army,

But despite all this, they did not remember to worship him.

Jesus started off early that day and many people came to him and he taught them the good news. He healed the sick and when it was late in the afternoon he finished preaching his sermons and he decided to send away the people, but he had pity in them for they were hungry. Jesus asked his disciples to arrange people and blessed the food which was sufficient for all and there was left offers.

STORM IN THE SEA

Jesus then sends his disciples to go ahead of him as he bade farewell the multitude. Later Jesus went to the mountain to pray. He followed his disciples walking on water.

The disciples encountered a huge storm at the middle of the sea. They struggled to save their lives for nine (9) hours. They had lost hope and they didn’t know they would last a little bit longer. They had struggled so much to save their lives. The sea was dark and the storm was raging. Inside the sea was sharks; and there was risk of suffocation in stormy waters. The disciples’ eyes were wide open and minute by minute the hoped and hoped for calm in the sea. The finally loosed hope and expected to perish in the raging storm. As if their problems were not enough, they were terrified to see something walking in the water. They had never seen such a thing before, so they cried in desperation. Who are you? JESUS responded to them, calm down it is me! Peter had mixed reaction; if indeed you are Christ please command me to come to you, walking on water. Jesus obliged. Peter was happy to hear the voice of the Lord and he wanted to be near him for he knew he would be safe.
A while ago, they were in turmoil. But the Lord Jesus;
Removed their necks form the noose,
Plucked out the bodies from the deep of the sea,
Saved their bodies which were dangling at the age of death
Saved the disciples with their wide eyed on top of the deck of steel, in the boat on a placid sea.

When Jesus came to their rescue the disciples worshiped him and thanked him.
When

As children of God, when we recognise God as creator, you will admire him.
When you recognise his wisdom, you will learn from him
When you discover his strength, you will rely on him
When Jesus saves you, you will worship him.

Before the storm;
We have lots of important things;
You carrier,
Your status,
Your Salary,
God has a priority but listed amongst the above items

God is easily kept at a distant,
He is comfortably dismissed,
He is neatly shelved.

When the storm comes;
We despair in life as the storm fell on us like fog
Our heart fail and we see no exit
When we try to turn to our carriers, we don’t find help,
When turn to our status, for strength, the storm is not impressed with the title.
When we rely on our Salaries, for rescue, many try but many fail.

One option!
We are only left with one option!
God is no longer;
A deity to admire,
A teacher to observe,
A master to obey
He is our Saviour to be worshiped.

When the disciples discovered him and worshipped him, they would never stop worshipping him. They would do it again and again and again. Even a thousand times they would do it – for they are sure of his saving Grace.

A season of suffering is a small price to pay for a clear view of God.

In your storms of life lift up your eyes to heaven and enter into the Glory of God through the open door. He and he alone will uplift you from your situation.
(Revelation 3:8) Therefore trust in God all your life and believe in His Saving Grace! AMEN.

STORY OF A SAVIOUR WHO MEETS YOU AND ME IN STORM!

BY APSOTLE WILLIAM K KORIR
MARK 6:48 -50
In life we all encounter serious storms of life and we sometimes are filled with fear. When we look back to heroes of the past; we appreciate what they did amidst the most challenging moments. Moses under intense pressure found himself at the dead end of the read sea. The deep sea a head, the Pharaoh’s army in hot pursuit from behind and the Israelites were in a hopeless situation. They had only two options either to swim or to fight back. Even if they tried any of the two options, they did not have enough strength.
Jesus Christ while on earth had a busy schedule. Heaven had no time to rest and during the night he went to the mountain to pray. In one of those instances Jesus had been busy the whole day and in the evening he wanted some quite place. He told his disciples to go a head of him in a boat and that he would follow them. He then went to the mountain to pray. When they reached the middle of the sea the disciples met a terrible storm. They struggled to save themselves and they thought they were going to die. At 4.00a.m in the morning, after struggling for 9 hours, the disciples saw someone walking on water and they were terrified thinking that it was a ghost. They cried loudly but Jesus told them to remain calm. The disciples had gone through storm all night and they were in fatigue. They all feared to die, their faces was full of fear and when Jesus spoke to them each of them wanted to go near to Jesus for safety. Peter asked Jesus whether he can go to him and Jesus allowed him. Children feel secure when they are near the parent and when in trouble. When a child is in trouble they rub themselves around the parent’s leg. Faith begins when you see God on the mountain and you are in the valley and you know you are too week to make the climb. You see what you need…………….. you see what you have…………..and what you have isn’t enough to accomplish anything. We usually come to Christ in an hour of deep need.
We need to look to Jesus for our salvation. There is no hope without Jesus and we shall not do a thing without him. One day, I drove home at about 8.00p.m. and came up to the foot hill. A car gave indicator showing he wanted to branch to the opposite road. I pulled and gave way after which a pressed on the fuel pedal and released the clutch. My car was soon rolling downhill and was soon cruising at a rate of 120 kilometres per hour. Then it dawned to me that I should not be moving at such speed as I could find a truck staled on the way. I placed my right leg on the pedal but there was no brake. I tried again but there was nothing. Then I panicked, and I told my passenger we are going to die. He replied; the faith you mentioned to us today will work. Praise the Lord. Some voice told me to drive out of the road to use the shrubs on the side to stop the car. Another voice told me to drive on. The same voice persisted and it told me to drive alongside the wall to stop it. The voice told me again to drive own and I obliged. The good Lord gave me His mercies; I did not find any staled car so I drove on. That day God saved me from a fatal accident. God takes care of his children and he speaks to us all day long. We need to listen to his soft voice. When I passed the same route later that week during the day, I could not belief what I saw. Satan wanted to finish me and indeed the voice which spoke audibly to me asking me to drive out of the road was from the enemy Satan. The shrubs I was being told to drive into were mare leafs while the other side was full of huge rocks. God’s voice told me to drive on and I live today to tell the story.
God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are real and alive. He guides us day and night and protects us from all evil. Jesus is the same yesterday today and forever. W e need to have faith in order to meet our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. God loves us all and he has good plans for us. Naaman a Commander of Babylon contracted a skin disease. He tried all medication in that land but could not heal, so one day, he heard of a prophet in Israel who could heal and visited that land. On arrival he saw advised to go down river Jordan and deep himself in the river seven times. He was not amused and thought it was an abuse. He even remarked that Babylon had clean water and how could he deep himself in muddy water of Jordan River. He was prevailed upon and he accepted and on the seventh dipping he was healed and his skin was fully restored. Faith is a vehicle to achieving our goals and this is why Jesus Christ said if one had enough faith he would command a tree to uproot itself and be thrown into the ocean. With faith we can secure all our needs, we can have peace and happiness and receive various blessings from God.
John Newton an orphan rose to prosperity and as a sea farer he grew strong until he bought a ship. He engaged in the most dehumanising work of slave trade. One day he encountered a storm which changed his life forever. He fought in the storm for 9 hours and his ship broke in two. He found himself in his cabin but the ship did not sink. He realised then that there must be a super power that saved his life. During his youth he used to make fun of Christianity and he could say that the bible was an imitation of Jesus Christ. That morning he accepted Jesus as his personal saviour never to leave him again. He preached for the rest of his life and one day he wrote a song “Amazing Grace” which is being sung to date. John declared that he was the chief sinner and Lord Jesus was the chief Saviour. When he was old and blind he was asked to retire but he refused insisting that as long as his mouth could speak he was not going to stop preaching.
God has placed before all of us an open door to whom no one can shut. We ought to therefore worship him believing in faith that he is going to bless us. (Revelation 3:8, 11-13.

JESUS CHRIST WHOM THE WORLD REJECTED

By Apostle William K Korir,

The Bible in the book of John 1:1..,14, It says, "In the beginning was the WORD and the WORD was with God and the WORD was God... all creation was made by the WORD and the WORD became flesh and dwelth amongst us...." For there are three that bear record in heaven the Father, The WORD and the Holy Spirit and these three one(IJohn 5:7)
The WORD therefore is Jesus Christ.

The Creator came to this world to save mankind who had fallen into sin for at the cross Jesus drew all mankind into his body and God carried out the work of Reconciliation reconciling the fallen world into himself (II Corinthians 5:17-20). and there is therefore no condemnation to those who are in Christ, who walk not after the flesh but the Spirit (Romans 8:1)

A wealthy man and his son loved to collect rare works of art.
They had everything in their collection, from Picasso to Raphael.
They would often sit together and admire the great works of art.
When the Vietnam conflict broke out, the son went to war. He was very courageous and died in battle while rescuing another soldier. The
father was notified and grieved deeply for his only son.
About a month later, just before Christmas, there was a knock at
the door. A young man stood at the door with a large package in his
hands. He said, "Sir, you don't know me, but I am the
soldier for whom your son gave his life. He saved many lives that day, and he was carrying me to safety when a bullet struck him in the heart
and he died instantly. He often talked about you, and your love for art." The young man held out this package. "I know this isn't much? I'm not really a great artist, but I think your son would have wanted you to have this." The father opened the package. It was a portrait of his son, painted by the young man. He stared in awe at the way the
soldier had captured the personality of his son in the painting.
The father was so drawn to the eyes that his own eyes welled up with tears. He thanked the young man and offered to pay him for the picture. "Oh, no sir, I could never repay what your son did for me. It's a
gift." The father hung the portrait over his mantle. Every time visitors came to his home he took them to see the portrait of his
son before he showed them any of the other great works he had collected. The man died a few months later. There was to be a great auction of his paintings. Many influential people gathered, excited over seeing the great paintings and having an opportunity to purchase one for their collection. On the platform sat the painting of the son. The auctioneer pounded his gavel. "We will start the bidding with this picture of the son. Who will bid for this picture? There was silence. Then a voice in the back of the room shouted, "We want to see the famous paintings. Skip this one." But the auctioneer persisted. "Will somebody bid for this painting? Who will start the bidding? $100, $200?" Another voice angrily. "We didn't come to see this painting. We came to bid for the best paintings. Get on with the real bids!” But still the auctioneer continued. "The son! The son! Who'll take the son?” Finally, a voice came from the very back of the room. It was the long-time gardener of the man and his son. "I'll give $10 for the painting." Being a poor man, it was all he could afford. "We have $10, who will bid $20?""Give it to him for $10. Let's see the masters." "$10 is the bid, won't someone bid $20?"
The crowd was becoming angry. They didn't want the picture of the son. They wanted the more worthy investments for their collections. The auctioneer pounded the gavel. "Going once, twice, SOLD for $10!" A man sitting on the second row shouted, "Now let's get on with the collection!" The auctioneer laid down his gavel. "I'm sorry,
the auction is over." "What about the paintings?" I am sorry. When I was called to conduct this auction, I
was told
of a secret stipulation in the will. I was not allowed to
reveal
that stipulation until this time. Only the painting of the
son would be
auctioned Whoever bought that painting would inherit the entire
estate, including the paintings.
The man who took the son gets everything!"
God gave His son 2,000 years ago to die on the cross.
Much like the
auctioneer, His message today is:
"The son, the son, who'll take the son?"
Because, you see, whoever takes the Son gets everything.
FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON,
WHO SO EVER BELIEVETH, SHALL HAVE ETERNAL LIFE...THAT'S
LOVE

God Bless

THE ORDINARIES ELAVATED

BY APOSTLE WILLIAM K KORIR,

The angel visited Mary in the little known village of Nazareth. Nazareth, was a village mainly known to be inhabited by backward poor people. Joseph a poor carpentor was engaged to Mary, but they had never known each other as mary was a virgin. The angel of God delivered the heavenly knews saying to her she was the chosen among women and she was going to conceive through the power of the Holy Sprit and have a Son to be named Jesus Christ who was to be the saviour of the World. Mary was afraid but the Lord urged her not to be afraid as God had appointed her among women to bear the saviour of the World.

Later that year, there was censors at bethlehem according to the Roman laws. All peoples were therefore required to present themselves to be counted and entered in the Roman record. Mary was heavy with child and her days were about to come. As the occasion was of great importance, and no one would escape, poor Joseph together with her engaged wife went to Bethlehem to be counted.

Joseph came from a poor region and it is therefore common sence to imagine that they faced some financial challenges. The only means of transport available and affordable must have been a donkey. The young family must have saddled a donkey early in the morning and had to brave the scorching heat of the sun in the desert country. The journey was arduos and hilly, ocasioning them to have stop overs throughout the journey. The slow movement culminated for them arriving in the town late at night feeling fatiqued.

The went all over the town insearch of a room to spent the night but to no avail. All the rooms were booked to capacity and there were no spare rooms for hire. Joseph had no idea of what to do as he was not familiar with the town.

As Joseph was still pondering on what next to do Mary gave him the heart racking knews. She told him there was great signs that the Baby was coming. What? exclaimed poor, Joseph. What would he do next. He was not familiar with the town. He had no experience with midwifry. But LO! there was no time at the all!. Joseph looked around and saw a cattle's enclosure. He led Mary to the place and she delivered the Bouncing Baby Boy - and named Him Jesus! They laid him in the Cattle's feeding trough.

The High prists spend their "holy nights" unaware that the Messiah they had been preaching to their congregation, was spending a chilly night and a smelling cows enclosure. For all there years they had spend thousand of hours teaching people of the coming of the Messiah, yet they had no clue of the way he would come! When he did no one was there to welcome Him to this world. Only the Spherds and the wisemen from the East, nobody else was!

God's working is heard to comprehend. He used an ordinary village girl, with no education and no exposure at all to world. She probably had never attended any elementary education and may be had never worn any shues in her lifetime. Her life was that of a simple village girl.

God therefore used this ordinary village girl to present to the world etra-ordinary activities through the miraculous birth of Our Lord Jesus conceived through the power of the Holy Spirit.

When the Egyptian servan Hagar, was sent away with her Son by her mistress Sarah, the wife of Abraham, she crossed the expansive desert and ran out of water half way. Her son was in the verge of dehidration and she feared he would die. The son cried painfully and refused to be consoled. She placed him on the ground and went far a way to avoid seeing him die. She sobbed softly as she waited. An angel of the Lord came to her and asked her why she was crying? The angel told her that God had heard the child crying and had sent him to deliver good knews to her that the child would be a great nation. The angel opened her eyes and she saw a well next to her and rushed to draw water to give it to her son.

If you are going through a tough time and you have lost hope in life, just hold on!
God has heard your crying and he will sent a rescue team to you. He will open your eyes and you will see a well of hope near you. When all seems lost!, when there is no way in all your sides, behind and a head, Just look up, where God is and you will receive salvation.

God will open a store house of blessings and you will be blessed indeed! Just do not give up hope! Move on in Faith, for He is a Faithful God who do not Change! Hang onto Him and wait Him do carry out extra-ordinary work through your ordinary Life!

CHRISTIAN LOVE - CHRIST'S COMMANDMENT

What's at the heart of Christian love? Jesus said, "By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another" (John 13:35). John, inspired by the Holy Spirit, once wrote, "We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death" (1 John 3:14). And "by this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome" (1 John 5:2-3).

Christian Love - Not a Feeling, a Lifestyle
So, what do these scriptures regarding "Christian love" really mean? Is it a warm fuzzy feeling? I don't have a warm fuzzy feeling for everyone I meet, Christian or otherwise -- does that mean I'm not saved? No, a "warm fuzzy feeling" is not the biblical definition for "love". So, what is the Biblical definition for love? Let's search the Scriptures and find out…

A Pharisaic lawyer once asked our Lord, "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?" Jesus said to him, 'You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets." (Matthew 22:36-40)

According to Matthew's Gospel, the very essence of the Law and the Prophets is to love God and to love others. And we see this term "the Law and the Prophets" used in one other place in Matthew's Gospel. It's in this passage that we find the Biblical definition for love: "Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets." (Matthew 7:12)

Would you want your wife to commit adultery? Would you want someone to murder you or to murder someone you love? Would you want someone to steal from you, lie to you, covet your possessions? Of course not! So don't go and do these things to other people! Paul, inspired by the Holy Spirit, commands us to "owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. For the commandments, 'You shall not commit adultery,' 'You shall not murder,' 'You shall not steal,' 'You shall not bear false witness,' 'You shall not covet,' and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law." (Romans 13:8-10)

In Luke's Gospel, Jesus elaborates on this "do unto others as you would have them do unto you" principle. He says, "Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back. And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise. But if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive back, what credit is that to you? For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back. But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil. Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful." (Luke 6:30-36)

Christian Love - Selfless & Giving Love
Christian love is giving to others those things that you would want them to give you if you were in their situation -- and it's doing so even if they can't pay you back. In fact, it's doing so especially if they can't pay you back! Christian love is respect for others. It's mercy. It's charity.

When the King James translators came upon the Greek word agape (God's Love), in addition to using the English word "love" to transliterate it, they often chose the English word "charity." This was meant to reinforce the idea that agape is a selfless, giving love. God's Love is unselfish and unconditional. Now we know what is meant by Christian love. Now we know what to strive for…

THE BETRAYAL AND CRUXIFIXION

The Betrayal and Crucifixion
After supper, Jesus walked to a garden called Gethsemane for a time of prayer. His disciples followed Him to this secluded place.

Judas approached Jesus, greeting Him with a kiss of betrayal. After His prayer, the chief priests and captains of the temple and the elders arrived there, looking for Jesus. Judas, who had just eaten with Him, was leading the group. Judas approached Jesus, greeting Him with a kiss of betrayal.

Suddenly, Jesus identified himself to the mob by saying, “I AM.”

The crowd went backwards and fell to the ground.

After that, Jesus allowed himself to be tied up and brought into the high priest's house.

The temple officers struck the blindfolded Jesus and then said, “Prophesy you holy man. Who hit you?”The temple officers who held Jesus ridiculed Him and spit in His face. And when they had blindfolded Him, they punched Him and slapped Him on the face, and then said, “Prophesy you holy man. Who hit you?”

Early the next morning, the crowd led Jesus to the Roman governor, Pilate. And they began to accuse Him, saying, “We found this fellow corrupting our Jewish nation.”

But after questioning Jesus, Pilate told the chief priests, the rulers and the people; “He has done nothing worthy of death. I'll just order Him to be beaten and then release Him.”

But they called out all at once, saying, “Get rid of this man. Crucify Him. Crucify Him.”

Pilate, wanting to satisfy the people, had Jesus brutally whipped, and then turned Him over to be crucified.

The soldiers pushed a crown of thorns onto Jesus' head, and then put a purple robe on Him. Mocking Him, and beating Him with their fists. The Roman soldiers braided a mock crown of thorns, placing it on His head, and they put a purple robe on Him. They said, “Hail, King of the Jews!” And they beat Him with their fists.

Afterwards they took Jesus and led Him away, making Him carry a wooden cross up to a place called Calvary, also known as Golgotha or the place of a skull.
There in the same area, where many years before God had told Abraham to sacrifice his only beloved son Isaac, they nailed Jesus, God's only beloved son, to the cross.

As they did this, Jesus said, “Father, forgive them; they don't know what they are doing.”

The soldiers took Jesus' clothes, gambling for His robe, which fulfilled prophecy. While Jesus hung between two criminals who were also being executed, soldiers took His clothes, gambling for His robe, which fulfilled the prophetic words spoken by David.

For three hours, the people watched. The rulers with them mocked Jesus, saying, “He saved others; let Him save Himself if He is the Christ, the chosen of God.”

Then a darkness came on the land which stayed for three more hours as the prophet's words were fulfilled: “The Lord laid the sins of us all on Him.”

Jesus cried out, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken me?”Jesus then cried out with a loud voice, saying, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken me?” Jesus, knowing that everything was now accomplished, fulfilled scripture when He said, “I thirst.”

The soldiers ridiculed Jesus as they offered Him vinegar by saying, “If you are the king of the Jews, save yourself.”

Jesus tasted the vinegar, then called out, “It is finished. Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” Then He bowed His head, and let His spirit go.

As He died, the sun darkened and the earth quaked, and the thick veil of the Temple ripped down the middle.

Now when the Roman captain in charge saw what happened, he said, “Truly this man was the Son of God.”

Then the soldiers came and broke the legs of the two thieves who were hanging on the crosses beside Jesus.

But when the soldiers saw that Jesus was already dead, they didn't break His legs. Instead, one of them pierced His side with a spear, allowing blood and water to pour out.

All of this happened so that the Scriptures would be fulfilled: “None of His bones will be broken,” and “They shall look on Him whom they pierced.”

Afterwards, two believers (Joseph and Nicodemus) took Jesus' body, wound it in linen grave clothes dipped in spices, and laid His body in a tomb. Then, as requested by the Jewish leaders, the tomb was sealed and guarded by Roman soldiers.

THE MINISTRY OF JESUS CHRIST

After seventy years of captivity, the Lord allowed His people to come back to the land of Israel. Only a small group chose to return, but they as well as Jews elsewhere, still lived under the rule of other nations…

Five hundred years later, when Rome ruled Israel, two young Jews named Joseph and Mary, both descendants of the royal line of David, planned to marry. But before they came together, Mary became pregnant through the power of the Holy Spirit of God.

Then an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, “Joseph, Don't worry about taking Mary as your wife: for the child in her was conceived by the Holy Spirit. The child is the Son of God. And when she gives birth to this son, you must name Him 'Jesus', which means Savior, for He will save His people from their sins.”

This happened as the prophet Isaiah had foretold, “The Lord Himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin will bare a son, and they will call Him Emmanuel, which means God with us.”

In a city called Bethlehem, Jesus was born in a stable.Joseph and Mary had to travel to the city of Bethlehem for a census and to pay taxes. And while there, Mary gave birth to her firstborn son whom they named Jesus. So, as prophesied, Jesus was born in Bethlehem to a descendant of King David.

And in the same country, there were shepherds watching over their flocks at night. And the angel of the Lord came to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were very frightened. Then the angel said, “Don't be afraid: for I bring good news of great joy, for all people. Today a Savior was born for you which is Christ the Lord.”

Is Jesus Christ a man, or is he God? AnswerAnd the child grew, becoming strong in spirit; and the grace of God was on Him. Jesus matured, increasing in wisdom and in favor with God and man.
Now when Jesus was about thirty years of age, a man named John the Baptist came preaching and baptizing in the wilderness, saying, “Repent: Prepare yourselves for the Lord.”

John was the messenger the prophets had foretold would announce the coming of the Savior. Then Jesus came to the Jordan river to be baptized by John. And when John saw Jesus coming, he said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world.”

And Jesus, when He was baptized, went up out of the water, and the heavens opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descend like a dove and light on Him. And a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

Then, after Jesus spent forty days in the desert, Satan, who had successfully tempted Eve in the Garden, tried ways of tempting Jesus—but Jesus would not sin.

Finally, Satan took Jesus to an especially high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. Then Satan said, “All these things I will give to you, if you will fall down and worship me.”

Jesus answered, “Get away from me, Satan: because God has written that, you shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve.”

While Jesus, the son of God, lived on earth in the form of a man, He was tempted in all the same ways we are, yet He never sinned.

So, where Adam failed, Jesus succeeded. This showed that Jesus indeed could be the Savior of mankind—the lamb sent from God.
Jesus revealed himself as the promised Savior in many ways, including performing countless miracles. At a wedding feast, He changed water into wine. He healed a man who had been lame for thirty-eight years.

Jesus cured a man with Leprosy, saying, “Be clean.” And immediately the leprosy left him.A man full of leprosy—an untouchable—saw Jesus and fell on his face, saying, “Lord, if You want to, You can make me clean.”

Jesus then reached out his hand and touched him, saying, “Be clean.” And immediately the leprosy left him.

Jesus brought sight to a man who had been blind from birth.

One woman, who for twelve years had a disease which doctors could not heal, reached out and touched Jesus' robe. He turned, saying, “Daughter, be comforted. Your faith has made you well; go in peace.”

Those suffering from different kinds of diseases were brought to Him, and He healed them all.

Jesus called twelve men together, asking them to follow Him. He gave them power and authority over devils, and He sent these disciples out to preach about the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.

His fame went everywhere, and great crowds came together to hear Him teach and to be healed of their diseases.

When a gathering of five thousand people needed food, Jesus prayed over a young boy's lunch of bread and fish. The food was miraculously multiplied, so that it fed the whole throng, with twelve baskets left over.

But the people kept asking for more proof that Jesus was from God. They said, “Our forefathers ate manna in the desert. It is written in the Scriptures, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.”

Jesus replied, “The bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”

The people said, “Lord, give us this bread all the time.”

Jesus answered, “I am the bread of life: he that comes to Me shall never hunger; he that believes on Me shall never thirst.” Jesus prophesied that He must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and then be raised from the dead on the third day. Most of the religious and political leaders rejected Jesus' teaching. However, one, a Pharisee called Nicodemus, came to Jesus at night, seeking truth.

Jesus told him, “Unless a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Nicodemus asked, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter his mother's womb a second time and be born?”

Jesus explained, “That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. You should not be so amazed that I said, ‘You must be born again.’”

Nicodemus said to Him, “How can these things be?”

Jesus scolded him for teaching others about religion when he didn't understand spiritual truths himself. Then Jesus explained spiritual birth. “For God loved the world so much that He gave His only begotten Son, that who ever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world; He sent Him so that the world might be saved.

The real condemnation is this: light came into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. He who believes on the Son has everlasting life: and he who does not believe on the Son, shall not see life; but the wrath of God remains on him.”

Finally Nicodemus understood and believed.
To a foreign woman, Jesus said, “Whoever drinks the water that I give shall never thirst; it shall be a well of water within him, springing up into everlasting life.”

The woman said, “I know that the Messiah will come, who will be called Christ. When He comes, He will tell us everything.”

Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am that Messiah.”

Later, Jesus taught the people, saying, “If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and follow Me. For what does it benefit a person if he gains the wealth of the whole world and loses his own soul?

Watch out! Beware of greed: for a person's life does not consist in the abundance of the things which he owns, for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”

Then the chief priests and the Pharisees called a meeting, and said, “What are we going to do? This man is performing so many miracles. If we let Him continue, everyone will believe on Him: and then the Romans revoke our right to control the people.”

Meanwhile, Jesus taught with great authority. He went into the temple and threw out the merchants who were inside, buying and selling. He said to them, “It is written in the Scriptures, My house is the house of prayer: but you have made it a den of thieves.”

Jesus said to them, “It is written in the Scriptures, My house is the house of prayer: but you have made it a den of thieves.”And He taught saying, “This is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who believes on the Son may have everlasting life, and I will raise up from the grave those who believe. But there are some of you who do not believe.” Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that did not believe, and who would betray Him.

So there was a split among the people because of Him. Among the chief rulers, many believed on Him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess their belief since they were afraid they might be expelled from their religious meeting places. They loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.
Most of the religious leaders looked for a way to destroy Jesus, but could not find one, because all the people were anxious to hear Him when He spoke.

Jesus continued teaching in the Temple, saying, “I am the light of the world: whoever follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”

And He said to those who believed on Him, “If you continue living as I tell you, then you are indeed My disciples. You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. If the Son shall make you free, you shall be free indeed. I am the door; if any man comes to God through Me, he shall be saved. I am the Good Shepherd: the Good Shepherd gives his life for the sheep. My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give unto them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall any man snatch them out of My hand.”

After three years of teaching, Jesus instructed His disciples to bring Him a certain young donkey, one that had never been ridden, and He sat on it. Then as He rode toward Jerusalem, a huge crowd began to rejoice and loudly praise God for all the mighty works which they had seen.

They called out, “Hosanna! Blessed be the King that comes in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.”

But when Jesus neared the city, he looked at it and cried over it because the people still did not recognize him as the promised Savior.

Satan entered into Judas, one of Jesus' twelve disciples, and Judas betrayed Jesus.
Most of the religious leaders looked for a way to destroy Jesus, but could not find one, because all the people were anxious to hear Him when He spoke.

Satan entered into Judas, one of Jesus' twelve disciples, and Judas betrayed Jesus. Then Satan entered into Judas Iscariot, one of Jesus' twelve disciples, and Judas conspired with the chief priests and captains about how he might betray Jesus. They were glad, and agreed to give him thirty pieces of silver to inform them of a time and a place they could capture Jesus when there were no crowds around Him.

Jesus knew that His hour to die had come, so He gathered His disciples together for a Passover dinner. As they ate, Jesus took bread, blessed it, broke it, gave it to them, saying, “Take, eat: this is My body, broken for you. This do in remembrance of Me.”

And He took a cup, and when He had given thanks, he gave it to them; and they all drank. And He said to them, “This is my blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the forgiveness of sins. But I say unto you, I will not any more drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it again with you in My Father's kingdom.”

Jesus said, “Don't let yourselves be upset: you believe in God, believe also in Me. In my Father's house are many mansions, and I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again to get you, so that you can be with Me. And you know where I am going and you know the way to get there.”

But Thomas said, “Lord, we don't know where you're going, so how could we know the way?”

Jesus answered, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father except through me.”

That evening, Jesus also warned the disciples of difficult times to come. He said, “If the world hates you, remember that it hated Me before it hated you. He that hates Me, hates My Father also.”

PROPHETS DESCRIBE THE SAVIOUR

Prophets Describe the Savior After forty years in the desert, the Israelites, known also as Jews, entered the promised land of Canaan. Although the inhabitants of Canaan knew of God's mighty miracles for the Jews, they rejected Jehovah as God, and fought against the Children of Israel. But God protected the Jews as they resettled in the land promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Once a year the appointed High Priest went behind a sacred veil which separated the people from the Holy presence of God.The Lord ordained priests to oversee the animal sacrifices and to lead in worship. Once a year the appointed High Priest went behind a sacred veil, which separated the people from the holy presence of God.

There the priest represented the whole nation before the Lord. After many years, the Israelites crowned a king, David, whom God called, “A man after my own heart.” God spoke to the Jews through David and other godly men, called prophets, reminding them to be holy as a witness to all nations. When the Israelites sinned, the Lord warned Israel through these prophets, that if they continued to sin, He would allow a foreign nation to overrun their country. In spite of these warnings, Israel was disobedient and rebelled against God, rejecting His laws and killing the prophets who testified against them. Finally, after eight hundred years of rebellion, Israel was taken out of her own land and was made captive in the nations of Assyria and Babylon. But God continued to speak through prophets during the Jews' captivity. Some of the messages were calls to repentance, while others were prophecies about the Savior who would come to rescue sinful mankind. The prophet Micah foretold the exact city where the Savior would be born and described His eternal nature saying, “Out of Bethlehem shall the one come who will rule in Israel, whose existence is from old, from everlasting.” God even revealed that the coming Savior would descend from the royal line of David. Through the writings of the prophet Malachi, the Lord described a special messenger who would announce the coming Savior and prepare the people to receive Him.

Zechariah prophesied, “O daughter of Jerusalem: Behold, your King comes to you: He is righteous and has salvation; humble, and riding on the foal of an donkey.” King David described how the Savior Himself would know in advance that one of His close friends, with whom He ate bread, would betray Him. And Zechariah even recorded that the price of the betrayal would be thirty pieces of silver. Jesus was whipped, tortured, and then crucified, for our sins.Through the prophet Isaiah, God foretold that the coming Savior would be tortured, by whipping, and that His face would be spat upon. David described the method of execution as “piercing the Savior's hands and feet, yet not breaking any of His bones.” That the Savior would say, “My God, my God, why have You forsaken Me?”, and that onlookers would laugh and ridicule the Savior, saying, “He believed that the Lord would deliver him.”

David also wrote that “the Savior's bones would be out of joint and in His thirst He would be given vinegar to drink,” and that the Savior's persecutors would “divide His clothes among them, and gamble for His robe.” Isaiah said that onlookers would be “astonished” when they saw how the Savior's face was disfigured from the torture. The prophecies in God's book even describe how one day, David's descendants, the inhabitants of Jerusalem, would “look at the Savior whom they had pierced.” And all this was written in the Scriptures many hundreds of years before the Savior came.

PEACE IN JESUS

Throughout life I have searched for many things, strived to achieve many things. Each time I would say to myself this will be it, this will finally fill my every need. Yet every time I found what I was looking for, or achieved what I had been striving for, once the newness of the experience wore off, I have always found myself back were I started again, still searching, still striving, still empty. I realize now, for most of my life I have really been yearning for true peace and have always felt it to be unobtainable, especially during the storms of life. I always faced them with fear and have always felt so all alone. Has your life been like this and do you feel this way also? If you find yourself like me, striving, searching and always seeming to come up empty, still yearning, aching just to be at peace, I would like to share with you that not only is peace obtainable, it is possible for you to know the greatest peace of all, especially during the storms of life, and that is God's peace.
Peace (or shalom as it is used in the Bible) means "Completeness".... "Soundness".....and Well being. It may mean material prosperity as well as physical safety. It is also more importantly, a spiritual well being. This spiritual peace is given to us in so many ways through Jesus. His sacrifice for sin gives us peace with God. This is followed by an inner peace that is unhindered by the world's strife, for this peace is not from this world, but from our Heavenly Father. Jesus said to His disciples, when they were fearful at His words of leaving them, "Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not be afraid. (John 14:27)..... Jesus is again stating facts and promises that leave no doubt that His peace is with you and He gives it to you completely.
In (Phil. 4:6) Paul says "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." Now you can choose to worry about all the endless possibilities that might happen to you and thus expend all your energy on "maybes or what ifs". Your mind is so pre-occupied by these ghosts, (as I call them) gnawing at you, that you allow no room for God's peace to comfort you. Honestly how many times in your life have you worried about something and it never happened? Worry not only eats away at you, but it is the very thing that is keeping you from God's peace. God Himself will take on your troubles as you allow Him to fill you instead of the unbelief of worry. In fact, the best is yet to come. As you read (Phil 4:7) " And the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Who better to guard your heart than Jesus? So you can choose to allow "worry" to surround your heart, or the love and peace of "Jesus." Need I ask your choice?
I don't know what circumstances you are facing today. The climb out of the pit of your circumstances may seem unsurmountable and unbearable, with obstacles that hinder your every step with worry and turmoil. One fact remains though. In your times of pain, fear or anguish, you can experience the ever present and unceasing peace which comes straight from the precious and compassionate heart of Jesus. His peace will fill your heart completely as it flows unceasingly and abundantly. He freely gives it, it is yours and as He is perfect so is His peace. All you need do is believe it and allow yourself to receive it.
When you placed your trust in Jesus and what He did on the cross, it wasn't only forgiveness of sins that you received, but all that comes with being a child of God. So when the storms come your way, there is a calmness within that storm, and that is Jesus. He is your refuge, your fortress for every storm. He is hand in hand with you, and will steady you during the storm. Just as He rebuked the winds during the storm on the Sea of Galilee, He can and will do the same for you. His peace is within you where the storms of life cannot reach, as you allow yourself to focus on Him and not the storm. He may not take away your trial or circumstance but He will always provide whatever you need to weather the storm. He is not oblivious to your pain for He suffered the same pain as we do. Please whatever you are facing right now, just once again walk up to the cross, get down on bended knee, focus upon Him as you pray. Lift up your hand, you will soon feel His hand in yours, as He reaches down and lifts you up out of the pit of your circumstance, and into the shelter of His everlasting arms

CHRIST'S LOVE FOR US

by Thomas Brooks
Let us stand still, and admire and wonder at the love of Jesus Christ to poor sinners; that Christ should rather die for us, than for the angels. They were creatures of a more noble extract, and in all probability might have brought greater revenues of glory to God: yet that Christ should pass by those golden vessels, and make us vessels of glory, Oh, what amazing and astonishing love is this! This is the envy of devils. and the admiration of angels and saints.
The apostle, being in a holy admiration of Christ's love, affirms it to pass knowledge, Eph. iii. 18, 19; that God, who is the eternal Being, should love man when he had scarce a being, Prov. viii. 30, 31, that he should be enamored with deformity, that he should love us when in our blood, Ezek. xvi., that he should pity us when no eye pitied us, no, not our own. Oh, such was Christ's transcendent love, that man's extreme misery could not abate it. The deploredness of man's condition did but heighten the holy flame of Christ's love. It is as high as heaven, who can reach it? It is as low as hell, who can understand it? Heaven, through its glory, could not contain him, man being miserable, nor hell's torments make him refrain, such was his perfect matchless love to fallen man. That Christ's love should extend to the ungodly, to sinners, to enemies that were in arms of rebellion against him, Rom. v. 6, 8, 10; yes, not only so, but that he should hug them in his arms, lodge them in his bosom, dandle them upon his knees, and lay them to his breasts, that they may suck and be satisfied, is the highest improvement of love, Isa lxvi. 11-13.
That Christ should come from the eternal bosom of his Father, to a region of sorrow and death, John i. 18; that God should be manifested in the flesh, the Creator made a creature, Isa. liii. 4; that he that was clothed with glory, should be wrapped with rags of flesh, 1 Tim. iii. 16; that he that filled heaven, should be cradled in a manger, John xvii. 5; that the God of Israel should fly into Egypt, Mat. ii. 14; that the God of strength should be weary; that the judge of all flesh should be condemned; that the God of life should be put to death, John xix. 41; that he that is one with his Father, should cry out of misery, 'O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me!' Mat. xxvi. 39: that he that had the keys of hell and death, Rev. i. 18, should lie imprisoned in the sepulcher of another, having, in his lifetime, nowhere to lay his head; nor after death, to lay his body, John xix. 41, 42; and all this for man, for fallen man, for miserable man, for worthless man, is beyond the thoughts of created natures. The sharp, the universal and continual sufferings of our Lord Jesus Christ, from the cradle to the cross, does above all other things speak out the transcendent love of Jesus Christ to poor sinners. That wrath, that great wrath, that fierce wrath, that pure wrath, that infinite wrath, that matchless wrath of an angry God, that was so terribly impressed upon the soul of Christ, quickly spent his natural strength, and turned his moisture into the drought of summer, Ps. xxxii. 4; and yet all this wrath he patiently underwent, that sinners might be saved, and that 'he might bring many sons unto glory,' Heb. ii. 10.
Oh, wonder of love! Love enables Jesus to suffer. It was love that made our dear Lord Jesus lay down his life, to save us from hell and to bring us to heaven. As the pelican, out of her love to her young ones, when they are bitten with serpents, feeds them with her own blood to recover them again; so when we were bitten by the old serpent, and our wound incurable, and we in danger of eternal death, then did our dear Lord Jesus, that he might recover us and heal us, feed us with his own blood, Gen. iii. 15; John vi. 53-56. Oh love unspeakable! This made [Bernard] cry out, 'Lord, you have loved me more than yourself; for you have laid down your life for me.'
It was only the golden link of love that fastened Christ to the cross, John x. 17, and that made him die freely for us, and that made him willing 'to be numbered among transgressors,' Isa. liii. 12, that we might be numbered among the 'general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven,' Heb. xii. 23.
Christ's love is like his name, and that is Wonderful, Isa. ix. 6; yes, it is so wonderful, that it is above all creatures, beyond all measure, contrary to all nature. It is above all creatures, for it is above the angels, and therefore above all others. It is beyond all measure, for time did not begin it, and time shall never end it; place does not bound it, sin does not exceed it, no estate, no age, no sex is denied it, tongues cannot express it, understandings cannot conceive it: and it is contrary to all nature; for what nature can love where it is hated? What nature can forgive where it is provoked? What nature can offer reconciliation where it receives wrong? What nature can heap up kindness upon contempt, favor upon ingratitude, mercy upon sin? And yet Christ's love has led him to all this; so that well may we spend all our days in admiring and adoring of this wonderful love, and be always ravished with the thoughts of it.
See that you love the Lord Jesus Christ with a superlative love, with an overtopping love. There are none have suffered so much for you as Christ; there are none that can suffer so much for you as Christ. The least measure of that wrath that Christ has sustained for you, would have broke the hearts, necks, and backs of all created beings.
O my friends! There is no love but a superlative love that is any ways suitable to the transcendent sufferings of dear Jesus. Oh, love him above your lusts, love him above your relations, love him above the world, love him above all your outward contentments and enjoyments; yes, love him above your very lives; for thus the patriarchs, prophets, apostles, saints, primitive Christians, and the martyrs of old, have loved our Lord Jesus Christ with an overtopping love: Rev. xii. 11, 'They loved not their lives unto the death;' that is, they slighted, contemned, yes, despised their lives, exposing them to hazard and loss, out of love to the Lamb, 'who had washed them in his blood.' I have read of one Kilian, a Dutch schoolmaster, who being asked whether he did not love his wife and children, answered, Were all the world a lump of gold, and in my hands to dispose of, I would leave it at my enemies feet to live with them in a prison; but my soul and my Savior are dearer to me than all. If my father, says Jerome, should stand before me, and my mother hang upon, and my brethren should press about me, I would break through my brethren, throw down my father, and tread underfoot my mother, to cleave to Jesus Christ.
Had I ten heads, said Henry Voes, they should all be cut off for Christ. If every hair of my head, said John Ardley, martyr, were a man, they should all suffer for the faith of Christ. Let fire, racks, pulleys, said Ignatius, and all the torments of hell come upon me, so I may win Christ. Love made Jerome to say, O my Savior, did you die for love of me?-a love sadder than death; but to me a death more lovely than love itself. I cannot live, love you, and be longer from you. George Carpenter, being asked whether he did not love his wife and children, which stood weeping before him, answered, My wife and children!- my wife and children! are dearer to me than all Bavaria; yet, for the love of Christ, I know them not. That blessed virgin in Basil being condemned for Christianity to the fire, and having her estate and life offered her if she would worship idols, cried out, 'Let money perish, and life vanish, Christ is better than all.' Sufferings for Christ are the saints' greatest glory; they are those things wherein they have most gloried Your cruelty is our glory, says Tertullian. It is reported of Babylas, that when he was to die for Christ, he desired this favor, that his chains might be buried with him, as the ensigns of his honor. Thus you see with what a superlative love, with what an overtopping love, former saints have loved our Lord Jesus; and can you, Christians, who are cold and low in your love to Christ, read over these instances, and not blush?
Certainly the more Christ has suffered for us, the more dear Christ should be unto us; the more bitter his sufferings have been for us, the more sweet his love should be to us, and the more eminent should be our love to him. Oh, let a suffering Christ lie nearest your hearts; let him be your manna, your tree of life, your morning star. It is better to part with all than with this pearl of price. Christ is that golden pipe through which the golden oil of salvation runs; and oh. how should this inflame our love to Christ! Oh that our hearts were more affected with the sufferings of Christ! Who can tread upon these hot coals, and his heart not burn in love to Christ, and cry out with Ignatius, Christ my love is crucified? Cant. viii. 7,8. If a friend should die for us, how would our hearts be affected with his kindness! and shall the God of glory lay down his life for us, and shall we not be affected with his goodness i John x. 17, 18. Shall Saul be affected with David's kindness in sparing his life, 1 Sam. xxiv. 16, and shall not we be affected with Christ's kindness, who, to save our life, lost his own? Oh, the infinite love of Christ, that he should leave his Father's bosom, John i. 18, and come down from heaven, that he might carry you up to heaven, John xiv. 1-4; that he that was a Son should take upon him the form of a servant, Phil. ii. 5-8; that you of slaves should be made sons, of enemies should be made friends, of heirs of wrath should be made heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ, Rom. viii. 17; that to save us from everlasting ruin, Christ should stick at nothing, but be willing to be made flesh, to lie in a manger, to be tempted, deserted, persecuted, and to die upon a cross!
Oh, what flames of love should these things kindle in all our hearts to Christ! Love is compared to fire; in heaping love upon our enemy, we heap coals of fire upon his head, Rom. xii. 19, 20; Prov. xxvi. 21. Now the property of fire is to turn all it meets with into its own nature: fire makes all things fire; the coal makes burning coals; and is it not a wonder then that Christ, having heaped abundance of the fiery coals of his love upon our heads, we should yet be as cold as corpses in our love to him. Ah! what sad metal are we made of, that Christ's fiery love cannot inflame our love to Christ! Moses wondered why the bush consumed not, when he sees it all on fire, Exod. iii. 3; but if you please but to look into your own hearts, you shall see a greater wonder; for you shall see that, though you walk like those three children in the fiery furnace, Dan. iii., even in the midst of Christ's fiery love flaming round about you; yet there is but little, very little, true smell of that sweet fire of love to be felt or found upon you or in you. Oh, when shall the sufferings of a dear and tender-hearted Savior kindle such a flame of love in all our hearts, as shall still be a-breaking forth in our lips and lives, in our words and ways, to the praise and glory of free grace? Oh that the sufferings of a loving Jesus might at last make us all sick of love! Cant. ii. v. Oh let him forever lie between our breasts, Cant. i. 13, who has left his Father's bosom for a time, that he might be embosomed by us forever.
